Though we know it's the end for the Eleventh Doctor, it's a bittersweet parting as Matt Smith, during his four years in the Doctor Who role, became a fan favorite with his ability to combine goofy antics with heartfelt drama. Busy filming the Ryan Gosling-directed How to Catch a Monster in Detroit, Matt took a moment to thank those in Doctor Who land for their love and support — in his typically charming fashion.
