Best Buy to Get Nokia's Booklet 3G on Nov. 15

The wait is almost over for Nokia's mini laptop - the Booklet 3G. With features like Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity, a 10.1-inch display, Windows 7, and 12-hour battery life, this tiny yet tech-filled netbook has been inching its way to the top of many holiday wish lists this year.

Well now you can really start saving up your pennies, but it's just been announced that the Booklet 3G will be coming to Best Buy stores on Nov. 15 and will cost $300 with a two-year AT&T data contract or $599.99 without. Amazing.

Give Back While You Shop With CB2's "Can Do" Drive

Last year, CB2 had tremendous success with its "can do" drive, helping to stock food banks in the neighborhoods close to its stores. This year, the "can do" drive is back. From today through Nov. 25, bring five nonperishable items into the store and receive 15 percent off your purchases for that day. All food collected will be directly contributed to a local food bank.

My local CB2 will be contributing to the Alameda County Community Food Bank. You can check here to see which charity your local CB2 will benefit during the drive. And meanwhile, make sure to head out to a store soon, with your five cans in hand. Not only will you feel good about providing food for needy families during the holiday season, but you'll also feel darn good about that discount. See below for some of my favorite CB2 items that I'll be shopping for when I bring in my nonperishables this week.

Anthropologie's November catalog is a surefire way to get in the holiday spirit. British model Jacquetta Wheeler - dressed in everything from pretty lace to cozy sweaters - is seen frolicking in (faux) snow. It's all so romantic. I can't help but be consumed by the impressive styling, and I'm sure CasaSugar is mesmerized by the rustic scene. Colorful, Lightweight Laptop Stand Travels Anywhere

I'd like to say that I do most of my work sitting upright at my desk, but in reality, that's not always the case. You're more likely to find me curled up on the couch working on my computer, or propped up watching a movie in bed. I've also created makeshift work spaces in airports while waiting for flights, my kitchen floor, and even on the city bus. Of course, with all of this mobility comes poor posture, and more often than not, a hot lap.

The Lightweight Laptop Stand ($26) is perfect for use anywhere, and since it is so light, it's simple to toss in your bag and take anywhere. My favorite is the bright orange, but it also comes in fun pink and more serious gray or black.

Trend Alert: Velvet Leggings

For me, Autumn/Winter is all about luxurious fabrics. They're usually thicker, great for keeping warm and instantly make your outfit look more expensive! This season designers have been mixing up the various textures including leather, velvet and suede.

Leggings are still very much a wardrobe staple and have taken on the new season fabrics. I have noticed a lot of velvet styles on offer and couldn't resist sharing them with you. The great news is that you don't have to spend a lot to indulge in this trend. There are plenty of pairs on the High Street including Topshop (£22), New Look (£14) and Dorothy Perkins (£18). The Look For Less: Smythe Tweed Slouchy Boyfriend Blazer

I already have a tweed Chanel-inspired jacket, but I don't have a cool tweed blazer . . . This Smythe Tweed Slouchy Boyfriend Blazer ($550) is bound to add a smart edge to any ensemble. This Silence & Noise Tweed 3-Quarter Sleeve Blazer ($78) is just what I need to get the aforementioned look. It's tweed, long, and equally oversized. It's not cheap, but I can justify spending $78 since I'll be wearing it all Fall.
