Sure you love Apple products and all, but you just got a new cell, so you don't need a new iPhone 3G, and you can't justify spending $300 - $500 (depending on size) for a new iPod Touch. For those of you who are cool with purchasing refurbished electronics, the Apple store is offering refurbished 8GB and 16GB versions of the iPod Touch for $50 less than the original price tag. So basically that's $199 for the 8 and $299 for the 16GB.

I'm forever finding deals online for "refurbished" iPods, laptops and various other electronics, but I haven't yet taken the plunge and purchased one myself. I must admit, when I'm constantly seeing these "as good as new," half-the-price special offers, it gets hard to turn a blind-eye to this world of refurbishments.
If you've ever checked out the refurbished section on the Apple site, you'll notice all your favorite Apple products at a fraction of the price.

Although every single one of them has already been swooped up by quick shoppers, AT&T began selling their refurbished iPhones earlier this week. The good news is that the cost of the refurb models is significantly lower than the retail price, which can go for as low as $249 for the 8GB models that were offered up online.

From the ornate exteriors to the charming nooks and detailing on the interiors, Victorians are definitely pretty homes. Some of the ones I've lived in, though, have been pretty drafty and needed a lot of upgrades. However, when they're refurbished, they're completely lovely.

Whenever I visit friends in Austin, I try to drop by Adelante, a hip, laid-back women's clothing and lifestyle boutique. The shop, which has been in Austin since 1992, and called San Antonio home before that, is a family-owned boutique that offers everything from shoes, dresses, and jewelry to home accessories and vintage, refurbished furniture.
The owner, Tricia Roberts, has a great eye for fashionable, affordable finds, and I always find some must-have item when I stop by.

In the short time since launching her full-service interior design company Artistic Designs For Living in 2002, she has already been recognized as the 2009 San Francisco Chronicle Baylist winner for Best Interior Designer, and placed on Western Interiors’s Gold List two years in a row.
