I don't know why I've been on such an art and crafts binge lately, but c'mon, how can I not be when I see such adorable geek gear like the hand-painted Bluetooth earpieces and the Super Mario Galaxy keychain and bracelet! Here's another one to add to the geekilicious handmade collection list — Gameboy Plushies! Although these fuzzy creations are hand stitched with felt, I'm not really getting the $45 price tag.

Although no one is quite sure why catnip has the effect it does on some cats, it sure does make them happy! My BFF's cat has been known to completely ignore us (which is unusual for the feline) while rolling around on the floor and salivating while he plays with his fave catnip ball. Although it never lasts too long, the few minutes he's under the spell is pretty entertaining for us as well!
