Wow, talk about pretty in pink! Could a clothesline get any lovelier? The tall, gangly flower in this photo is one of my personal favorites. Can you name it?

My favorite dance scene from the 1963 Ann Margret musical Bye Bye Birdie is entitled "Lot of Livin to Do." In it, she sings of "drinking Champagne as if it were water." But, not just any Champagne - pink Champagne. When I was little, I too, dreamed of drinking pink Champagne as if it were water. Well as luck would have it, sometimes I do!

My current favorite "pink Champagne" is actually a sparkling Cava Pinot Noir Rosé from Spain. It's refreshingly dry with light airy bubbles. It's an elegant, yet playful wine that is both crisp and fruity. The aroma is reminiscent of berries and it has a light body that coats the tongue.

What I love most about this sparking Rosé is its easy drinkability. I've enjoyed it with everything from cheesy rich appetizers to roast chicken to a light green salad. The affordable $15 price is the icing on the cake. Do you sip sparkling Rosé?

Get the Look: Folksy Red Cushion Room

After reading my Decorating With Cozy Fall Throws slideshow, one reader wrote in saying, "I am in love with this room and want to know where everything is from, particularly the pillows and the artwork." You know me, I love to help you all "get the look," so here we go!

The success of this room is driven by the mix of pink and red textiles, including cushions, a throw, and a floormat. Those particular cushions are from Designers Guild but are no longer available. The artwork is from Pimpernel & Partners in London, but you can easily find similar artwork by searching "vintage floral paintings" on Etsy or eBay. Fall Style: Chic Pink and Orange Halloween Décor

Now is the time to start thinking about your Halloween décor. But before you go deck your house in all black and orange, consider another color. Lovely Little Vignettes member Bonchic1 chose a pink and orange palette, rendering her Halloween décor more chic than spooky, yet still festive. She also used glittery pumpkins, crystal candlesticks, and a mirrored tray, creating a truly glamorous display. I love it! I know the Halloween season is short, but I've always been cautious of having a black and orange palette in my home; it doesn't look right for some reason. So I'm really inspired to expand my Halloween colors now!

Of her Halloween decorations, Lovely Little Vignettes member Cocoangel says, "When I didn't have the size or color of candles for my candle holders, I just used ceramic pumpkins and silk fall leaves instead." Fun! I can't wait for Halloween!

Pink and Her Shoulder Go Separate Ways

After seeing her crazy aerial show on the VMAs last Sunday, it's easy to understand how Pink could injure her shoulder. After initially thinking she had broken her collarbone, Pink learned she had separated her shoulder. A painful injury indeed. In fact she tweeted that "it kinda feels like 50 angry invisible demon fairies are stabbing me."

A shoulder separation is not technically an injury to the actual shoulder joint (the ball and socket) but a weakening or tear of the ligaments that attach the top of the shoulder blade to the collarbone. These ligaments help stabilize the shoulder through the wide range of motion this joint has.

Although it is assumed that Pink injured herself on the trapeze, she twittered to her pal and sometimes punching bag Jason Ellis this message when he asked what happened:

Proving she is a super toughie, Pink will continue her tour in spite of her injury - minus the trapeze tricks.
