Come on, you can admit your Apple narcissism to me: you LIKE people to see the Apple logo. You are not so keen on cases that hide the Apple. Admit it. We're in the trust tree.

I am Human creates adhesive covers that shield the top of your Mac, but still let the little Apple logo show through. There are many patterns to choose from, but I'm partial to the wooden ones in walnut, bamboo, and cork ($35 each).

So you can be the show-off you don't want to say you are. It's OK. I love it too.

Titan Laptop Case: Love It or Leave It?

Holy heavy duty, Batman. I know I said I wanted a case that would protect my delicate flower of a laptop, but do I really need gnarly molded polycarbonate that kind of makes me look like Bob the Builder?

Aesthetics aside, ain't nothing getting to my laptop through this Titan X2 Flash Laptop Case. It looks crazy strong, and if Titan's rep and the "German tradition of engineered excellence" are true, then trying to mess with it would be like that Halliburton scene in Lost.

But worth the $445? Hmm. Would you get this for your laptop?

Oooh . . . It's like Uggs for your laptop. These faux-shearling-lined laptop portfolios from See Jane Work (on sale for $62) have funky exteriors and cozy interiors. I know I would get distracted touching the soft fluffies instead of getting work done on my laptop. But I kind of have an Ugg feeling about these in general. . . That is, totally conflicted about them. How about you?

Velvet Idole Computer Cases: Love or Leave?

I can't say I've come across many Parisian product lines for electronics, but if these laptop cases are anything like Parisian shoes or handbags, I better take notice. Velvet Idole has created these luxurious leather to fit snugly around various laptop models. With a foam padding exterior, a cotton interior, and a zipper surrounding the case on three sides, a laptop is sure to stay protected inside.

So maybe these cases don't have carrying handles and cost upwards towards $90, but they do come in a lot of neat designs as Cool Hunting has pointed out. I've posted two of my faves here, the Space Invaders version, and the classic white design, but you can also choose from nubuck, dots, penguins, pandas, basic black, and robots. What do you think of them?
