If you're a runner, you know that storing your keys can be a challenge. Often, I end up taking my house keys off the key chain and tying them to my shoe or looping them around my finger.
So I'm loving this Split Ring Key ($7 for two).

Oprah is going to be quite the busy bee this week as she broadcasts her show from the Kennedy Center Opera House, in Washington D.C., to be in the center of all of the inauguration action. Already getting excited for the big day, Oprah unveiled her latest gadget obsession — an inauguration countdown keychain — which looked similar to one of these during her Friday's Live show this past week. She noted that her new pal, Silicon Valley investor Sam Perry (who she wept on during the election night victory rally in Chicago), sent her the digital keychain as a gift.

Insecure about your coolness? Pick up one of these little Sidecar device pouches by English Retreads, a company that crafts bags and accessories out of reclaimed truck inner tubes, and get the mojo flowing.
Not only are you supporting an environmentally conscious company that puts my pantry kitchen recycling bin to shame, but I like that I can't define the Sidecar as a camera, iPod, or cell phone case — it's lined and big enough to fit a few things in there.

You've probably seen 2009 Presidential inauguration countdowns in various formats, like the keychain pictured above. While countdown accessories certainly broadcast the opinion of the owner, do you think they add anything useful to the political discussion?
Yay or Nay?

We've seen a couple of permutations of the digital picture keychain. Some are oval and colorful, some are shaped like cameras and some are too chunky to be considered practical. The new keychain from Tao, however, seems just right.

The other day we received a few packs of Aura Clip 'n' Go mints and Clip 'n' Go Gum. The products, which are by New Era Brands, are actually quite clever. They're your typical standard mints and gum, but they're packaged in plastic containers that can snap on to your keychain, backpack, purse etc.

One of the best things about being a gadget freak is a constant stream of packages filled with bubble wrap. Sure it isn't earth-friendly, but no I don't know anyone who can walk by it without a pop or two.
Enter the gadget you never knew you never needed - but still totally want.

Digital picture keychains are something I haven't had the chance to take for a test drive. I'm assuming they'd make the perfect gift for proud grandparents and doting soccer moms or even the party girl in us all.
From what I've read and heard, they are ridiculously easy to use.

Thanks to TeamSugar user colormesticky for sending us one of her favorite gadgets, a Philips digital camera keychain from Amazon. She says: "Now I always have something handy since I don't have a camera phone. The picture quality is surprisingly good considering its size- it's about the same quality as a camera phone, but a little bigger."

Don't you hate it when your keychain is weighed down with unnecessary keys? I call it janitor keychain syndrome, and I used to suffer from it until I found this Tokidoki Heart and Crossbone Keychain ($25). Peel your eyes away from the sweet yet bad girl design and focus on the latch mechanism.
