After chatting with a friend on the weekend, who got nailed with a $130 after getting caught chatting on her cell phone (California law requires you to use a hands-free device while driving), I've decided to show some love to the Bluetooth devices. Just like Nadya Suleman, my friend is going to have to invest in a hands-free device. Since she's a bit of a fashionista and doesn't want to use the standard earpiece included with her BlackBerry, I feel like it's my duty to offer up some decent suggestions.

Spicing things up for Spring and Summer, Jawbone has just debuted their new line of candy-colored Bluetooth earpieces that come with catchy names like Yello!, Drop Me a Lime, LILAC You Mean It, and Frankly Scarlet. This new line of headsets are said to deliver up to nine decibels of improvement in noise suppression and with NoiseAssassin 2.0 technology, there is suppose to be 5x better call clarity in noisy environments. The bright new Jawbones will start selling nationwide on May 2 for $130.

Trying to carry on a conversation with two tots in tow can be cumbersome. Add the background noise of their blaring toys, the television or radio, and I can barely hear myself think let alone talk to someone on the other end of a phone line. So when the folks at Aliph sent me their Jawbone ($130) Bluetooth headset, I figured I'd give it a whirl.

If you've already received a ticket for cruising around in California with one hand on the wheel and one hand holding your phone, I have a little something to make getting that ticket seem less depressing. Aliph, the maker of the uber-stylish Jawbone headsets (a personal fave and one of my June Must Haves), is offering you a discount when you buy one of their cool headsets!
Just enter in your citation number on the Aliph website to receive a nice $20 discount — that's the amount of the ticket itself!

Sleek and chic was the name of the game at last night's Jawbone party here in San Francisco. Me and my geeksugar partner in crime were out in full force, checking out Jawbone's latest and greatest second generation bluetooth headset, which is now available for $130. Not only did we get to examine this fashionable device, which features stellar noise-blocking technology and is fifty percent smaller than the original model, but we ran into one of our favorite tech savvy gals — Gina Hughes of Yahoo!

It's no surprise that how women determine facial attractiveness is complicated. Unlike many men who may give a woman's body a once-over, and then look at her face, deeming her attractive or unattractive, women, when checking out a man's face, tend to evaluate it on two levels, according to a study that was just published in the Journal of Experimental Social Psychology.
The first level women use to evaluate men's faces is sexual: they zero in on features like the jawbone, cheekbones, and lips.
