I would love to find out how many iPods and cell phones airlines find each year on their planes. I mean seriously, as soon as you sit down on a plane, you get your "zone" all pimped out with some magazines and your iPod or cell phone sticking out of the seat pocket in front of you. Next thing you know, you get off the plane and your beloved iPod is wedged so far in that seat pocket, you wouldn't have spotted it if you had tried.

Like any jet-setting geek girl, I refuse to travel without all of my gadgets. But with a phone, iPod, camera, cords, and chargers, keeping gadgets organized and cords tangle-free is a challenge.

I don't normally go for a laptop backpack (I'm more of a tote kind of girl), but for the sake of utility, I just had to brag about my Booq Boa Laptop Backpack find. Not only does the Boa pack your 13-17 inch laptops, iPods, and boasts enough room to store a few books or folders, but it also has a special bottom compartment for your SLR and top section to fit your full-sized headphones. .

Corega Japan has just come out with these tantalizing mini boombox docks that deliver quality output from their built-in speakers. While playing your tunes, you can connect the dock to your laptop or computer via the included USB port- therefore charging and transferring songs all at the same time.

Look ma, no kids! Last weekend, mama got a break from pureed baby food, stinky diapers and bath time duty. The grandparents came to the rescue and watched my wee ones as I took off on a beach adventure with my hubby.

Kim Kardashian was lucky when she recovered the passport she left on the plane in South Africa last month, but most travelers aren't so fortunate in retrieving their forgotten valuables. If you've ever left something on the plane and wondered what happened to it, chances are it didn't end up in a black hole or even in someone else's possession; it's probably in the airline's lost and found warehouse.
Southwest has a warehouse where it collects all the stuff passengers forget, including coats, books, car seats, electronics (they find about five iPods every day), hundreds of cell phones, and the number one forgotten item — sunglasses.
