If you've seen one hotel-finding app, you've seen them all. Whether it's Travelocity, Orbitz, or Kayak, you enter in your destination and — boom — you get some detailed search results to help you decide where to rest your head at night. But Priceline's free updated travel app is offering up a cool feature that totally makes me feel like a super-saver spy.

Interactive ads are taking over our tech! Late last year, everybody jumped on board the augmented reality train, which gave us a new way to look at marketing (come on, even Home Depot had an augmented reality gift card), and in case you haven't noticed — there are interactive ads in our iPhone and iPod Touch apps. No matter how you feel about pop-up ads in your iPhone, it's likely that you won't mind this one.

Angelina Jolie was spotted cruising the aisles at the LA Apple store earlier this week with her family in tow. Her children Pax, Zahara, and Shiloh kept busy on the computers while Angelina helped Maddox pick out an iPod Touch. Maddox is a lucky little dude for getting such a grown-up (and pricey) gadget at the age of 8, but of course kids are so immersed in technology now, getting an iPod Touch at his age may be the equivalent to me getting a Gameboy for good behavior.

A few years ago, Vestalife debuted its Ladybug iPod speaker doc at Macworld, and we all kind of fell in love with its design and shape. This year at CES, Vestalife is back with its new Firefly iPod/iPhone dock, and it's just as stylish, but without all the patterned fuss.
The Firefly ($130) comes in red, black, and silver, and has a soft-touch finish that you won't want to take your hands off of.

A Swedish company just released this children's bedding set, made to resemble an iPod Touch. (Though some say it's iPhone bedding, it's pretty obvious to this geek girl that there's no "phone" button.)
Even though this is made for kids, I'm thinking it's a little over the top. The real nail-in-the-coffin moment for me is that they managed to spell "Calendar" incorrectly.

As if your iPhone wasn't useful enough, add one more thing it can do to streamline your life: control your TV. Debuting at this week's CES convention in Las Vegas, L5 Technology is unveiling its app and attachment that turns your iPhone or iPod Touch into a universal remote that controls your TV, DVD player, stereo system, and cable box, among others.
Just download the free app, drag and drop your preferred features into the remote, attach the $50 adapter to your iPhone or iPod Touch, and you're on your way.
