I have come to realize how handy it is to have an iPhone attached to my hip at all times. Because of its fast Internet and cool apps, I can find almost anything, anytime, anywhere. But realistically, as awesome as it is, my iPhone can't tell me absolutely everything.

I can give you multiple reasons why I love this concept piece I found on Coroflot. Not only is this hanging hard drive packed with virus-scanning software to help you track down any bugs that may have attacked your computer, but it can also recover any corrupted files, so it's actually a useful piece of equipment.
Plus, it's kinda cute in a totally out-of-left-field kind of way, and it flashes and glows in the dark while it's doing its thing.

This gadget is said to hold a few spare rechargeable batteries to juice up your computer, MP3 player, or phone when you need it most. But is it real, or just a concept design?

Would you work a little harder on a task at the office if your boss offered to give you a bonus upon completing it? Many would answer that question with a resounding, "Yes." What if that same situation was applied to schools with teachers and their students?

Just in time for Movember, a friend just sent me the link to one of the funniest screen savers I've seen, the Screen Stache Saver.
Created by branding firm 160over90, the concept is simple: affix a fake mustache of your choice to the bottom of your computer monitor, download a folder of the eight screen saver images, and set the preferences on your computer to run a screen saver using the folder of images.
The result is a hilarious screen saver that features changing old-school-style photographs of men perfectly positioned to rock your monitor's mustache.

As I've mentioned in the past, I'm a huge fan of the new CBS series The Good Wife. In particular, I adore Alicia Florrick's (Julianna Margulies) apartment. With classic styling and great use of color, it's definitely a look I'm currently coveting.

You can customize your shampoo and conditioner based on your hair color, and you can customize your makeup palette. Now, as part of Dell's Design Studio program, you can even customize the Dell Mini, Inspiron, and Studio laptop models with color options based on OPI nail polish colors. The collection, which will feature 26 color choices, will kick off with six lacquer shades: Kyoto Pearl, Princesses Rule!, Up Front & Personal, Dear Santa, Holiday Glow, and I’m Not Really a Waitress.

Kids are like sponges, soaking up everything they see and hear and often repeating the negative at the most inopportune times. Any child who has been around a TV screen or computer monitor this week was likely to have absorbed some less-than-admirable behavior while hearing about the likes of Congressman Joe Wilson, tennis star Serena Williams and rapper Kanye West.
Rather than focus on these public figures' unfortunate actions, their transgressions give us an opportunity to discuss the importance of a meaningful apology to our offspring.

Earlier this year, we broached the question of whether it was fair for establishments to impose a built-in surcharge for large dinner parties — and many of you were strongly opposed. But how would you feel if taxes and gratuities were eliminated altogether?
Frank Klein, owner of San Francisco's Fish & Farm, thinks the idea has potential to succeed in times like these.

New At-Home Fertility Test Kit
Fertell, the first at-home fertility test kit, became commercially available in June 2007. The Fertell kit contains tests to screen for both male and female infertility. Men can test their semen for concentrations of motile sperm, while women can test their urine for levels of follicle-stimulating hormone (a marker for egg quality).
