Comcast dropped the bomb yesterday that it'll be placing caps on Internet service — 250 GB per month. When a customer goes over, they'll be contacted by Comcast and asked to curb their usage, and there's also a possibility that the company will charge $15 for every 10 GB over the limit.
Considering Comcast is the country's second-biggest Internet provider, this should affect tons of people (yours truly included), and in general, I'm wary of new limits on services.

In another installment of "you should be working, not playing on this website" website of the day, Comcast has launched Comcastic, a fun little number of its own. Comcastic (not to be confused with Comcast), encourages you to play with puppets (including my fave, the robot), come up with some cool moves, even send a personalized puppet message to your pals — complete with a voice recording! You can also participate in five rounds of mouse-clicking games that could win you an entire year of free internet.

Nobody wants a customer service experience that leaves you swearing under your breath, but these situations aren't exactly avoidable. MSN Money knows how important customer service is to consumers and conducts an annual survey that measures customer satisfaction.
It's named 10 companies that need a lot of improvement in the customer service department and 10 that would be good examples to the companies in the Hall of Shame.

Dear friends and readers, take pity on me. I have no Internet or cable at my house right now. Both services come from Comcast, and now I'm starting to see where that bundle deal was not such a great idea after all.
