The Clocky alarm clock we all love and yet love to hate is back in a shiny new chrome design that is sure to scare the bejeezus out of anyone when it goes off in the morning.
This fun clock by Nanda costs $65, although you can still pick up an older style in red, white, coco, or aqua for $50. It's seriously the perfect gift for those who can't seem to get out of bed since they'll have to get up just to make Clocky stop from rolling around!

While your boyfriend may not be thrilled about the idea of receiving a pink alarm clock for Valentine's Day, this just may be the perfect gift for a geeky girl (and for whoever has trouble rising and shining in the morn). The infamous mobile Clocky is still rolling around bedrooms all across the country, flashing its screen and beeping in random patterns. Now you and your sweetie can take part in all action with the freshly painted Clocky by Nanda Home.

The May issue of Esquire offers up a snarky boys club guide on how to "google efficiently." Sure, it made me giggle and was intended to entertain, but I can't say I found any of it particularly helpful or informative. Esquire says:
- Save time by typing in "gogle.com," instead of "google.com."

How crappy is it when you know you saw something on a certain website, so you search it, just to find that their native search engine sucks?! You KNOW Google would find it. Of course, you can Google the site's name and the keyword, but you'll get results from different websites as well.

Getting your child to get out of bed can be quite a challenge. My five–year–old niece could sleep through a hurricane. When she started school, my sister had to start to crow like a rooster to get her to rise.

Unlike the Clocky, which rolls around your room until you get up and catch it, the Carpet Alarm Clock takes a slightly less active, but utterly innovative approach to your wakey wakey routine.
The clock, which was designed by Sofie Collin & Gustav Lanberg, is essentially a small rug you place next to your bed. Built in is a fun alarm system that requires a little stomping to shut it off.

Interactive alarm clocks are becoming more popular because — people need them!! Sometimes that loud, unnerving, alarm beep just doesn't cut it, so you need a gadget like the Clocky clock to force you to get out of bed to turn it off! Well, another animated clock called the Room Tech Beingz ($50) has just hit the market, and it seriously seems like the Tamagotchi of alarm clocks!

Given my general sluggishness in the morning I've actually set up my alarm clock across the room from my bed so I have to force myself to get up and shut it off. Sadly, even that doesn't always work.
Apparently, someone else has dealt with the same morning blues because there's actually an alarm clock that will will jump off of your nightstand and wheel around your room looking for a place to hide.
