So now that you've got a shiny new iPhone or iPod Touch you probably don't want to cover it up with a bulky, opaque case. Fear not my friends because the Reveal iPhone or iPod Touch Case ($25) from Griffin will keep your iPhone protected while still showing off its natural beauty. This thin (1.4 mm thin) case offers a polycarbonate shell and an ultrathin rubber accent (in any color of your choice) for additional protection from scratches and bumps .

Just like the one created for BlackBerrys and iPhones, Amazon has done it again with a sophisticated app for android handsets.
With this app, android owners will be able to check out products in 40 different categories, access their account and settings and see personalized shopping recommendations. Best of all, you'll be able to use your phone's camera to remember certain products (with our without snapping the barcode) and easily make one-click purchases.

Pair Checkout Smartshop — the app that will help you find prices of products locally and online — with the new iPhone version of TheFind and you're all set to get your shop on. With TheFind you can find any product online and not only that but it will tell you all the stores nearby that has that particular item. One click will give you prices, another directions, and another a store phone number just like that.

It's a refreshing change to finally hear about apps that aren't Apple or iPhone related! One of the first Android apps I've read about and quite frankly - one that sounds right up my alley - is called ShopSavvy; a comparison-shopping application that was specifically built for Google's Android mobile phone platform. One of the winners in Google's Android Developer Challenge, Shop Savvy (formerly known as GoCart), will price products online and show you a rundown of prices so you can comparison shop!

Remember the days when if you wanted to do some shopping, you had to actually go to the store fully clothed, try things on, pay a real person for them, and then drive yourself back home? But then came the Internet and the effortless joy of shopping from the comfort of your own home, wearing just pajamas or nakedness, and now a faceless man drops your new clothes on your doorstep!
Ralph Lauren is hoping to stage a similar tech shopping revolution by enabling you to buy Polo Ralph Lauren from your cell phone.

This geek tip is coming to you courtesy of Real Simple, and without being too punny, it is real simple. I knew you could text Google for info on mostly anything, and I was really stoked when I found the Checkout SmartShop iPhone app last week.
But if you don't have an iPhone or don't want to pay $5 for the app, then RS advises you to text 466453 with the item name that you spot while out shopping (like "Joe's Jeans Muse") and then type "price" after that.
