It always amazes me at how many gadgets women can stuff in their purses (I'm just as guilty as the next person). But, what shocks me even more is how many people have more than one cell phone! Right now, I just have one on the go, but I have lots of friends who have a cell phone for work and one for personal use.

Oh, Gwyneth Paltrow. The Oscar winner recently made some comments about how much she loved Spain and how different it was from the US, citing their enjoyment of life more — and attributing it to a lack of cell phone connectivity.
She said:
"They aren't running around as much as in New York.

Imagine being at your friend's house and being able to borrow their cell phone charger, whether they had the same phone or not. Or not having to ever get a new charger because you got a new phone!
That's going to become the reality in Europe, as major cell phone manufacturers — including Apple, Nokia, Samsung, and BlackBerry maker RIM — have just agreed to start using a standard cell phone charger.

Love your PSP but resent carrying around an extra device? Sony might be resolving this little problem with its rumored development of a "PlayStation phone," a gaming/cell phone hybrid.
I've been all for all-in-one devices ever since I've known the bliss of having my iPod, cell phone, and mini media center combined on my iPhone.

This past weekend I happened to catch The Proposal on the big screen, and as captivated as I was by the hilarious plot line, I couldn't help but take notice at Sandra Bullock's character — Margaret Tate's — cell phone obsession. A big executive editor-in-chief of a book publishing company, Margaret convinces her assistant (Andrew, played by Ryan Reynolds) to marry her so she won't get deported back to Canada.
During a trip to Alaska for his grandmother's 90th birthday party, Margaret's white Nokia E71 is stolen by a hawk (I know, sounds far-fetched, but it's such a funny scene), so she has Andrew order her a new phone.

Do you talk on your cell phone in public places? Do you also assume no one's listening? Well, watch out, because there's a group that's eavesdropping and then re-enacting particularly loud cell phone offenders to hilarious effect (check out the video below from Loud People).

Sure, I'm addicted to my cell phone, but it's not like an unhealthy thing (OK, maybe it's slightly unhealthy). But there's a line. The sort of integration you have to get to with your cell for me to say that it's too much is worth noting — so check out the following products, because you might be a cell phone addict if you buy them.

Here's some amazing news for folks who wanted to upgrade to the iPhone 3G S, but didn't want to pay the full price and sign a new contract: AT&T just announced via its Facebook page that it will be extending its upgrade prices to current AT&T customers who purchased an iPhone 3G last year and aren't yet available for upgrade prices (that would be all of you). And if you've already pre-ordered your iPhone 3G S online, you should expect an email from AT&T alerting you to a nice refund. Even better news?
