Are you a die-hard Apple fan? Would you take your obsession to the next level and tattoo the company's logo on your body? Luckily Engadget further explained that this tattoo was created from revolutionary temporary ink that falls apart when exposed to laser energy, after which the body's natural ability to expel foreign particles kicks in and does the rest.

Here's a reason to keep a home printer around! Inkjet Tattoo Paper lets you design custom temporary tattoos, which is great when those 50-cent jobs from the gumball machine won't cut it. We've all seen engravings on iPods and laptops, but I don't think I've seen them look quite so tattoo-like as I did at ETCHamac's booth at Macworld. ETCHamac does custom engraving exclusively for Apple products (which you can now purchase new from their website and choose a design), and is newly engraving iPhones as well. I would definitely have a hard time choosing a design to tattoo on my body, but maybe it could be a low-commitment substitute to put it on my laptop instead?!

Last night at the Maxim Hot 100 party in Los Angeles, tattoo artist Katherine Von Drachenberg (aka Kat Von D) arrived with stars in her eyes. Or at least, next to them.
I guess I'll just never get used to someone having about 20 or so stars tattooed around her eye area.

Geek tattoos are a phenomenon I will always enjoy and never understand. There are literally hundreds of them with more and more popping up on the web everyday. Whether it's an Apple logo tat or the Windows 98 Bluescreen Of Death, I can't imagine permanently marking my body with a gadget or symbol that will probably be as antiquated as the TI 99/4A when I'm 80.
