The perfect Christmas gift for tech-savvy kids, these animal webcams are easy to set up and fun to use. Choose from a blue dog or a red dinosaur, although I swear they look more like funky cows! Each USB cam comes with a built-in mic for web chats and can only be used on PCs (sorry Mac fans).

You know Hannspree, the maker of those adorable TVs for kids? Well the company has decided to dip into the Netbook market with the launch of the 10-inch LED-backlit LCD HannsNote. Said to be priced at $379, this little book will come in black-or-white and feature a 1.3-megapixel webcam, 1GB of RAM and Windows XP.

I looooove webcams, and I've got some time to kill before the Fourth of July fun gets started. If you're also sitting around waiting for the food to be grilled, now's a great time to check out some live zoo action. To be fair, I've included a variety of creatures as well as three cams with baby animals .

Not only are they one of my favorite animals to watch on zoo webcams, I can't resist baby animals (even when they're tiny and pink). Watch twin Giant Pandas being born in China – brave mom, Guo Guo, was evacuated from the Wolong Giant Panda Reserve post-earthquake, and now makes her home at a panda base in Ya'an.
Wow, can you believe how little they are?!

Remember the Doggie Cam? I guess we weren't the only people loving it. Wired Magazine has put together a Doggie Style: Cell Phones, Webcams and GPS for Hounds piece that makes me drool...just a little bit.

ThinkGeek has long been a go-to destination for geek shoppers online, so when I was introduced to one of their Merchandising Assistants and she immediately divulged she is a geeksugar fan, I realized we were a match made in heaven.
Andrea Owens, who describes herself as "laid back, high strung, random, a little bit crazy, fun, and a little bit of an organizing control freak," had always been a fan of Thinkgeek and had joked it would be so awesome to work there. After moving to Virginia, she checked the website to look at a gift for her husband noticed they were hiring.
