Making my way around WonderCon's expo floor was a pain in the neck — literally. I had to keep an eye out for all those awesome costumes, which meant straining my neck left and right all weekend! So it was a nice break coming across the booth of Spicy Brown — the home of these super cute Tofu Robot figures ($20) as well as some geek chic tees and accessories.

With holiday parties looming on the horizon, I've had killer apps and hors d'oeuvres in the back of my mind. Since no party is complete without a meat, cheese, and crackers platter, it's only appropriate that Nabisco has come out with a new variety of Ritz cracker, Brown Sugar Cinnamon, that's sure to be popular come Christmastime. Ritz crackers were an after-school pastime for me growing up, so I couldn't wait to try the new flavor.

To spice lovers like myself, chicken curry is the ideal, all-purpose meal. It's a well-balanced, relatively fast, one-pot dinner with loads of personality. For guests who don't go for the fiery factor, I simply cut down on the number of spices and chiles; when I'm cooking for myself, I'll take the dish a few notches higher on the Scoville scale.

My fanaticism for specialties like fried chicken and spicy buffalo wings is so epic that sometimes I overlook other poultry dishes that are well-suited for the dinner table. I'd almost forgotten about chicken teriyaki until I stumbled across a simple yet standout recipe that calls for basting and broiling an entire chicken until it's developed a caramel brown lacquer.
Teriyaki-glazed chicken has become a typical to-go item in food courts across the country, but it's far more delicious when prepared in a home kitchen.

You can find some healthier options on Chinese takeout menus, but often the highly caloric options sing a little too loudly to be ignored. Besides, cooking at home means you're in control of how much oil goes into the pan and it's typically cheaper than ordering in. When you're craving something that's reminiscent of this popular takeout option, stir up a medley of shrimp with spicy orange sauce on your very own stove.

This season there is a new favourite shoe in the shape of Louis Vuitton's Spicy heels. The shoes which were designed in Marc Jacob's kitchen already have a celebrity fan base which includes Alexa Chung and Victoria Beckham. The tribal sandals retail for £1600, but I have found a very similar pair for a fraction of the price.

You've taken my warm and cool undertones quiz and learned about the basics of color choice selection from Chad Hayduk, Three Custom Color Specialists makeup artist and cofounder. So, let's move on to the nitty-gritty and bring it all together with some makeup shades picked by Chad himself, along with some other options I found.
Since a whopping 85 percent of you are fiery warms who look best in shades such as russets, oranges, bronzes, coppers, and golds, let's start with you first.

Yesterday morning I had the pleasure of speaking with three of San Francisco's busiest chefs, the men behind the PlumpJack restaurant kitchens. Jack Falstaff's Jonnatan Leiva, PlumpJack Cafe's Rick Edge, and Balboa Cafe's Jose Lemus each stopped by Balboa to deliver a batch of their ultimate chili. The chefs, along with the firefighters of Station 16, are taking part in an annual chili cook-off, benefiting the San Francisco Firefighter Toy Program.

In February 2007, the FDA announced that the antibiotic telithromycin (Ketek) should no longer be used for treatment of acute bacterial sinusitis. In June 2006, the FDA reported that several people had died of liver damage after taking this drug. Telithromycin is now only approved for treatment of community-acquired pneumonia.
