This is the first campaign we've got to follow in this particular age of the Internet; with blogs, every little story becomes a big story, every mountain a molehill, as word-of-mouth has become URL-link-hand-offs. I'm already trying to keep up with CitizenSugar, and now, you can keep up with what the candidates and their campaigns are reading themselves, with Google's new Power Readers feature.
The Power Readers page is like reading shared items in Google Reader, only instead of a shared blog post from your friend, it's from Barack Obama.

Everybody loves finding a foundation that matches their skin tone to a T, and it's even more satisfying when that faultless shade is just under the $10 mark. Recently reader Autumns_Elegy reviewed Maybelline Mineral Power Natural Perfecting Foundation ($10) with a SPF of 18. Here's why she liked it:

Clinique is endlessly coming out with new products, many of them seasonal. That's why I'm always glad when readers write in to review new releases they've just tried, like this Clinique Vitamin C Lip Smoothie ($17.50). I liked it, but did reader Laratf feel the same way?

Bliss Best of Skintentions Daily Moisturizer ($35) is a product that I've tried before. But I was really only reviewing it as a sunscreen. Reader laratf, on the other hand, likes it as a lightweight moisturizer and has a whole different perspective on its powers.

We design enthusiasts will admit that Domino will always hold a special place in our hearts — and bookshelves. But it was the stable of talented, creative people that truly made the beloved magazine an influence and an inspiration. So I was so delighted to have the chance to catch up with the founding editor-in-chief of Domino and co-author of Domino: The Book of Decorating, Deborah Needleman.

When Frank Bruni announced he'd be stepping down as the New York Times's restaurant critic, readers were left with a pressing question: Who will step up to the dinner plate? The food world waited collectively with bated breath until the answer was announced today: Sam Sifton, the paper's current Culture editor, will begin reviewing in October.
The blogosphere wasted no time compiling critical stats on Sifton, and Gawker has already come up with a slew of potential dining guises for him.

When your workout gets tough, you need to be mentally prepared for the self pep talk and the occasional mental smackdown of negative self talk. Kara Goucher powers through with power words when racing, and many of you FitSugar readers have great workout mantras as well. A couple of weeks ago, I asked you all to share your personal pep talks.
