Although Polaroid's beloved instant camera film will soon be a goner, Fuji has made sure that the holes in our hearts are not left empty for long. The Fuji Instax Camera produces Polaroid-ish, credit card-sized photos in minutes, allowing you to get your instant photo fix, even if it's not via your usual method.
Although I found this charming little white number from Urban Outfitters for a cool $130 bucks, you can easily find other Fuji Instax models on Amazon for around $50.

It doesn't have to end! Even though Polaroid's days as a photography option are waning, we don't have to place it firmly in the past. Wear the memories around your neck with this Polaroid Charm Necklace ($15)!

Ironically, the death of Polaroid instant film has brought up what feels like Polaroid Nation around here. I have a sudden re-appreciation for the cameras and snapshots, and it seems like the world around me agrees — witness this rad Polaroid t-shirt and my desperate reminder to get a camera while you still can.
That's why, if I'd seen these pins earlier, I may not have been so admiring of them, but at this time, they make me happy, wistful, and already nostalgic.

The Polaroid cameras and the film that goes with them will soon be discontinued, but here's a way to keep the old tech going: Wear it! This Polaroid T-shirt may be in the "young mens" section at Macy's, but it's unisex enough, especially for geeky girls with a penchant for instant cameras.
Years from now, long after the Polaroid no longer exists in the way we knew it, you can pull this old, threadbare T-shirt out of your closet, wear it proudly — and then have it stolen by your future hipster children.

Depressed about the upcoming demise of Polaroid's instant cameras?
Then now would be the time to get up, buy a soon-to-be-vintage-geek camera and a crap-load of film, and quit whining about it! I'm planning on grabbing an old Polaroid, stockpiling some film, and snapping away before it's too late.

Say cheese! Did you know that the retro-chic Polaroid Camera has its very own annual holiday? In 1937, American inventor Edwin Herbert Land became interested in polarized light and established the Polaroid Corp.

Although Polaroid cameras may now be considered retro gadgets, there's just something about instant still-image cameras that I find totally fascinating. By the end of this year, Zink will be coming out with a camera that resembles a modernized Polaroid camera that will print quality photos-instantly. Featured on Engadget, the Integrated Digital Camera and Printer works as a digital cam with 7-megapixels, a 2-inch screen and a 3x optical zoom.

I'm still trying to figure out what the function is of this cozy polaroid camera. It's either a novelty item to add to your retroesque game room or the perfect chair for little
katie sugar? Whatever its purpose, this Plusharoid camera looks extremely user-friendly.

The math on this one just doesn't add up. Polariod is having some marketing fun by replacing mirrors in shopping malls and business centers in São Paulo, Brazil with Polaroid cameras. I could see it being entertaining when you and your girlfriends are in the loo, but when time is limited and you need a quick gloss touch up or need to remove lettuce wedged between your teeth, not so much.
