Paramount is not only trying to dip into the video-game world, but it's also going after a female audience by introducing three games inspired by girlie movies — Clueless, Mean Girls, and Pretty in Pink. These first few games will be developed in conjunction with Legacy Interactive.
No word on what console the games will be designed for or what the user experience will be like just yet, although BuzzSugar has her predictions!

As soon as I saw Cloverfield I knew immediately that there would be sequels. Making one stand-alone video of a Manhattan monster attack means there could be any number of other videos out there with similar footage — from the New York attack, or from other cities the monster demolished. Basically, all they need to come up with are the various reasons for people to be using a handheld camera.

Ashley Greene was a little lost as she headed to a meeting at Paramount Studios in LA yesterday. She arrived in California over the weekend to attend a party with the Gossip Girl kids, though that meant she had to miss out on the Eclipse wrap party up in Vancouver. She's sure to be reunited with her costars in the Twilight series as promotion for their next film gears up before its release on November 20.

Last month, when the New York Times wrote an article about David Fishman, a 12-year-old aspiring food critic, readers everywhere were thoroughly amused.
Turns out readers weren't the only ones to find the article entertaining. Variety reports that Paramount Pictures has acquired the rights to the story, which focuses on Fishman's journal of his fine dining experiences, as well as his friendship with a prominent restaurateur.

This amazing light fixture is from the gorgeous Deco-era Paramount Theatre in downtown Oakland, California. I love the formality of the curvature here, as well as the warm light that reflects off the gold-painted ceiling. How would you incorporate this formal brilliance into your own home?

Hollywood is calling the breakup between Tom and Paramount studios the biggest divorce ever. Some blame the split on Tom's crazy behavior... like jumping on Oprah's couch, and some blame Viacom's chairman, Sumner Redstone, saying Tom was too rich for his cheap blood.

Paramount is, like, so over Tom Cruise. They are ending a 14 year relationship between themselves and Tom's production company "citing the actor's controversial and sometimes erratic behavior of the past year." The WSJ reports:
Paramount now believes that Mr. Cruise's behavior hurt the box office of his most recent film, "Mission: Impossible III."

Chris Brown and Rihanna stopped by Paramount's Kings Dominion in Virginia over the weekend, but rather than make a scene they were just there to enjoy a day at the amusement park. Chris held all their devices while Rihanna grabbed her lemonade before the two enjoyed the front seats for their ride on the roller coaster. Wheee.

A former British Elle editor talks in the Daily Mail today about a passing comment her mother made to her at age 10 that colored the way she saw her body for the rest of her life.
When Sally Brampton was 10 years old, her mother showed her a photo of herself in a bathing suit and said, "I think you're getting a bit chubby." From that point on, Brampton would battle with a body that, although "perfect" by the prevailing cultural standards, always seemed too big to her.
