This morning at Nintendo's press conference at E3, Gizmodo followed all of the announcements on their liveblog, and I couldn't help but get excited about three in particular.
The first one is the new multiplayer Super Mario Bros. for the Wii, appropriately titled New Super Mario Bros.

If you like SciFi's Ghost Hunters, Most Haunted, and hey, maybe even The Ghost Whisperer, then you're going to love the latest game slated to hit the DSi Store later this year. Called Ghostwire, this game uses your Nintendo DSi's cameras to search your pad for spirits, apparitions, and EMF's so you can be your very own Ghostbuster. I love ghost stories, and this game brings them to life since you can pan around your room, suddenly see a ghostly figure hanging out by your closet, then poof!

Nintendo is really trying to get us in shape for Summer! Set to make its official debut on May 26 here in the US, Personal Trainer: Walking works by sending data between a wireless activity pedometer (which you can place anywhere — even inside a bag!) and the infrared game card in your Nintendo DS or DSi to track your walking progress.
Your DS will record your daily step count, minute by minute, so you can always go back and see your activity level.

On Sunday, I spent 500 of my free DSi points on Art Style: Aquia, the Tetris, Bejeweled, Meteos mash-up that has you putting rows of same-colored blocks together in order to make them disappear. I knew the game would be fun, since I'm such a big fan of Tetris and Meteos, but I didn't realize how addictive it would be.
Not only are you being timed, but your goal is to help your undersea diver to get to the bottom of the ocean.

Last week we got a sneak peek at the Nintendo DSi, and I told you about some of its cool features: DSi Sounds, the dual cameras, and the DSi Shop that you can access through its wireless connectivity. But now that the DSi Shop is open for business, I can give you the full low down on the newest portable console to hit the market.
Check out my video review of the DSi as I take you through how to play your music, some of the fun extra features, and whether or not it's worth the $170 price tag when you read more

Although the DSi isn't available in stores yet, the accessories are already rolling in. Sure there are some cases, some "starter kits" coming with extra accessories, but what about something that actually improves your DSi?
Check out this Dreamgear 3-in-1 Flash Cover— not only does it protect your brand new DSi from scratches and scrapes, but it also covers your outside lens when not in use (to prevent damage), and provides a bright flash for the camera.

As you know, I've been anxiously waiting for the arrival of the Nintendo DSi (which comes out this Sunday), but lo and behold, I got a special delivery in the office yesterday: a Nintendo DSi cake and the DSi itself! After taking in the craftsmanship of the cake, I dove into the DSi to take a few first impressions.
Right off the top?

More details about the DSi were announced during the Game Developers Conference today, including the consoles downloadable content prices. The DSi Shop will allow you to download tons of games through your wireless connection, which will cost anywhere from 0 - 2000 points per game. The point-to-dollar system seems pretty standard (and perfectly reasonable) with 100 points costing one dollar.

Promoting the new Nintendo DSi game Rhythm Heaven (available April 5), Beyonce Knowles has already said she is quite the gamer girl who especially loves Wii games. Although we have yet to see the official commercial featuring the singer and her adorable nephew Julez playing Rhythm Heaven, we got a sneak peek with some behind-the-scenes footage that you can check out below!
And to see a fun interview with Beyonce where she talks about Super Mario Bros.
