LA Galaxy played AC Milan in a friendly yesterday, which meant that David Beckham came face to face with his old team mates! It was Galaxy's first home game of the season, and David got some bad reactions from the crowd in Los Angeles, with boos filling the stadium and some signs displayed, showing that fans still feel he abandoned their team when he extended his loan period playing for Milan, and missed the first half of the Major League Soccer season. David had some great support in the crowd too though, not least from his wife Victoria, their children, Tom Cruise and also Gary Barlow, who is in California on holiday!

David Beckham may have had his serious game face on for AC Milan's friendly against Qatar on Wednesday, but I'm sure he's grinning from ear to ear now, as Sky Sports News reports an agreement has finally been reached between AC Milan and LA Galaxy, which will allow David to remain with the Italian club until the end of the season. He will then return to the Galaxy. Becks was due to return to LA Galaxy on 9th March, but has repeatedly spoken about his desire to stay with Milan.

A few months ago we noticed that competitive eating was a rapidly growing "sport": This year, 1.5 million people tuned in to ESPN to watch the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest, and there's now a game, Major League Eating, available on the Nintendo Wii. Yet while it's entertainment for many, it comes at a cost for others. Yesterday, Saurab Sabharwal, a 22-year-old engineer at Nokia-Siemens in Gurgaon, India, died during a company-sponsored pastry eating contest held in the office cafeteria.

Okay, I'm having major PE flashbacks here. Dodgeball was definitely not my favorite sport as a child, but Dodgeball, the movie definitely sparked my interest in the sport as an adult.
I just found out that Crunch Fitness Gyms offer Dodgeball 101 classes.
