One thing that upsets me about Google Images is the fact that it's sometimes difficult to find older photos — hey, the Internet is only 39 years old. Google is trying to change this by hosting millions of photos from the LIFE photo archive from the 1950s and onward. Search various categories like people, places, events, sports, and culture or add "source:life" to any Google image search to only search the LIFE photo archive.

The fun and fearless John Krasinski tried out his modeling skills for a photoshoot with Best Life Magazine. He's not the first guy we'd think of for the job, but maybe he's out to prove that he can do more than just his signature Jim Halpert face. John seems to be holding his own in those dapper designer threads, but we're much more excited to see him back behind his desk when The Office returns next month.

When the Berlin Wall fell 20 years ago last week, East and West Germany had to integrate two very different cultures. Freedom may have spread quickly through the East, but nudity — the East's favorite and perhaps only freedom — never caught on in the West.
Freikörperkultur (FKK), or liberal body culture, was really the only way to rebel in the East, where the most quotidian details of people's lives were observed by the Stasi, East Germany's secret police.

Just a week after the fold of Metropolitan Home, I've got my hands on another city-centric design volume: Sue Hostetler's new book Majestic Metropolitan Living: Visionary Homes in the Heart of Cities. The shelter and design editor for magazines like Gotham, Hamptons, and LA Confidential, and the host of Plum Homes With Sue Hostetler on Plum TV (which "targets the most active, influential, and educated audience in the world"), Hostetler has tapped her cronies for tours of their unique and luxe urban dwellings.
The American dream of retiring to the pool and tennis courts in your countryside home is squashed by this book, which showcases a range of sprawling, real-life city homes.

The Tuesday night CW block made a particularly strong showing this week. Personally, I thought 90210 had one of its best episodes of the season — nice character development, a few teary moments, and some "oh no she didn't" disses. And as for Melrose Place, I've got two words for you: Heather Locklear.

Angelina Jolie is no stranger to magazine covers, but this week she managed to land on the front of four weeklies. Us, Life & Style, Star and OK all feature stories on the actress, ranging from her adopting a child without Brad to rumors about her being a total fake. Additionally, there are headlines about a reunion with her father and her new roles in The Tourist and the upcoming Gucci movie.

Kourtney Kardashian isn't due until December, but she's already planning how she will get her body back and lose the 30 pounds she's gained during pregnancy. Life & Style reports the tiny reality star is already a fan of the Belly Bandit, a beloved "abdominal compression binder" designed to shrink the stomach after delivery. In fact, Kourtney, who has kept up her exercise regime throughout her pregnancy, is even lending her name to a forthcoming limited edition Belly Bandit.

Dakota Fanning got all dressed up for the upcoming December/January issue of Teen Vogue. She isn't the first member of the film's cast to appear on the cover of the magazine, after Taylor Lautner's turn a few months ago. Dakota had a busy weekend at their press conference in LA, where we got lots of amazing one-on-one time with the cast — more of that to follow.
