On Gossip Girl, no character is too small — especially when it only takes but one camera phone pic to bring down entire friendships, romances, and social constructs. This week's episode featured the devious Penelope, formerly one of Blair's minions, but a rabble-rouser in her own right of late.
But her evilness isn't what I focused on — it was that electric blue cell phone she whipped out to peep Gossip Girl's post about Vanessa and Nate making out.

With Valentine's Day right around the corner, we're kicking off our third annual Geeks We Love interview series to showcase some of the most talented and loved tech writers in the industry. And who better to get things under way, than the charming Doug Aamoth, who spends most of his days reviewing high-tech gadget goods for CrunchGear? I had the pleasure of meeting Doug at the HTC Touch Diamond Event in London last year, and found him to be very much the way he comes across in his work — passionate and knowledgeable about technology, and a really great guy with an addictive sense of humor.

As far as I'm concerned MTV's new teenage reality show Newport Harbor will never rival Laguna Beach, or The Hills in the drama or glamor departments, but it might give both shows a run for their money when it comes to number of cell phone and gadgets scenes in each episode. I was flipping through channels the other day and can confirm what communication experts have been saying for months: Teens don't need e-mail, cause they text message.
After a little research (no, I couldn't sit through an episode, but I could do some internet searching) I learned Chrissy has cell phone issues cause her father always calls to check up on her.

We all know that one girl who has everything. She's the kind of girl that waits 19 hours in the snow for the latest gaming console, buys the hot new phone the day it hits the market and knows great gadgets when she sees them. So what do you get her?

American designer Dooney & Bourke has teamed up with Verizon to bring you this stylish cell phone wristlet, which I saw on Gizmodiva. Made from D & B's signature multi-colored white fabric, the wristlets have a magnetic flap closure to keep your phone secure, a sky blue lining, and a removable leather wrist strap. Verizon seems to be using these carrying cases to promote the LG Chocolate handset, but they can be used with any mobile.

The New York Times recently published a Cellphones for the Music Fan article, which featured (shown from left to right): the V3i, which is a modified Motorola RAZR; the Sony-Ericsson Walkman W810i, available through Cingular; and Verizon’s LG VX8500 Chocolate.
While geeks and music fans around the world are still waiting to see if Apple will produce an iPod-inspired phone, many music lovers have already taken the plunge and are faithful users of the listed cell/MP3 player combo phones.
