Sneak a Peek Behind the Scenes at Gap's Casting Call!
The model photos are magnificent, but it's the behind the scenes snapshots that have me ogling over the twenty Casting Call finalists that made their way to San Francisco (with chaperones) to have their mugs captured on camera. I was lucky enough to attend the fun and kid-friendly photo shoot that had dozens of toys, grilled cheese sandwiches for pint-sized palates, shoulder rides and even an impromptu hurdles session for one of the cuties who wanted to show the photographer his athletic ability!

What parent doesn't think their child is the cutest kid in the world? It's pretty hard not to adore every flaw, scar, dimple, strand of hair, and smile of your sweet pea. So when Gap, Live With Regis and Kelly, or Parenting magazine asks you to submit pictures of your darlings, it's pretty hard to resist, though some would rather keep their cutie patooties behind the lens.
Spot Your Tot on Halloween
My son is always on the run so when he received a Glow-in-the-dark skeleton sleep set ($22) as a gift, I knew it would double as the perfect ECOWEEN costume. Paired with his skull and cross bone Vans ($25) and a smudge of homemade face paint to give the illusion of hallowed eyes, he'll be all set to trick-or-treat. As he lights up the spooky night, I'll also be able to keep an eye on him.
