In their recent January issue, Food & Wine magazine released their annual 100 Tastes to Try. This year the tastes have been broken down into 15 categories ranging from food trips to new ingredients. I took a look through the list and here are some of the ones that are topping my personal list of tastes to try in 2008.

Earlier this week I shared some of my hot gadget predictions for 2008, some of which were utterly foreseeable (for example the success and hype around the wireless Kindle reader is bound to make eReaders a heavily replicated device) and some were more hopeful (please, please let there be more flash based personal media players!). I want to know: What gadget and technological innovations are you looking forward to in the coming year?

Every year, my family always gives me a new calendar to adorn my walls. This year they surprised me with one made from my own photographs, however I would've been just as happy with one of the many foodie-friendly calendars out there. I love the Play with your Food calendar, as well as Salut!

Happy New Year! As we ring in 2008, I'm leaving the Best of 2007 behind me and turning my attention to what movies, music, television shows, and books I'm most looking forward to in the new year. Over the coming days, I'll be sharing some of my thoughts on the most anticipated events of '08.

After wrapping-up our best of 2007 polls, I've realized that the past twelve months have been filled with incredible new devices, websites, applications, video games and software. Apple proved to be the ultimate mover and shaker in the tech industry with the innovative iPhone, Apple TV, the new MacBook Pro, the widescreen Nano, and the iPod Touch. .

OLED Televisions: Surprisingly OLED TV's weren't overly popular in 2007, even though they created quite the buzz with their super-slim design, energy saving technology, and exceptional screen quality.

A new type of fitness motivator should be hitting stores in 2008. It's not a new gizmo or gadget promising to erase inches from your waistline, but rather a game, promising to make the whole weight loss feat fun.
The term 'NEAT' covers all physical activity that is not conscious exercise, especially since hitting the gym for a regular workout might be too much to expect for those returning to fitness.
