Best of the week Month End: New Music, New electronics!
I have been so busy that I didn't have a chance to post last week, so this is sort of a 'best of 2 weeks' post. I acquired a lot of new music in the last 2 weeks. Some of it is good, but most of it i'll probably get rid of quickly.Download of the Day: Wii Transfer 2.0
Thought the Nintendo Wii was only good for breaking a sweat? Guess again, as the Wii can play movies! Wii Transfer 2.0 is software that will easily recompress videos to play in the Wii's Photo Channel.
REVIEW: SSX Blur for Wii
SSX Blur, exclusively for the Wii, is a very cool game. I've played the SSX 3 and SSX On Tour games (love them) but the Wii controls offer a whole new twist to this popular snowboarding series. The ubertricks are much harder because it's not just a matter of pushing a couple buttons, you have to collect tokens to earn extra tricks and to complete them you have to push the A button while drawing different shapes, such as a Z, a heart etc.

This will probably be the last Guilty Pleasure post for me this year - I am not entirely sure she is going to be doing a show on Chrsitmas Eve anyway. Yay for us, this week's show is all holiday music. I listened to the show yesterday and I've got it playing again today.
Best of the Week - September 10/07
After returning from my week-long trip to Rotorua, Wellington and places in between, the second week of the 2-week-long mid-semester break was much less exciting. We watched the LOTR trilogy when we got back from the trip, cleaned up the apartment, took basically everything we own to the laundromat because the washing machine we bought is now broken (like almost everything else we've bought in this country!), played a lot of wii games, enjoyed 2 birthday cakes - we each made one for Greg's birthday, went grocery shopping too many times, and generally avoided both studying for an exam and writing a research paper for this week. The Highlights Include: TV/Movies - Watched a few movies, including the Departed, but what I really loved watching most was the Veronica Mars episodes we've been watching since the middle of last week.
