Ubuntu Linux 7.04
It's a tough thing when you're doing a review of a distribution that you want to like but end up having to pan it. The latest version of Ubuntu Linux is called Feisty Fawn, and about all I can see it being good for is venison. We found it to be a real stinker in some ways, despite past versions of Ubuntu having been fairly good.Problems with Ubuntu 7.04 Fiesty Fawn
The good stuff aside, I had a number of problems with this release. Fiesty Fawn was supposed to make multimedia easier. Strangely enough I ran into some difficulties with multimedia, as well as with some of the other new features.Panel Discussion/Book Signing: David Chang of Momofuku

David Chang of Momofuku Restaurant in NYC and Jeremy Fox of Ubuntu in Napa will appear in conversation with each other. Peter Meehan (co-author of David's book and NY Times columnist) will moderate. Chang knows his way around a pig, while Fox is an award-winning vegetarian chef.
