This Valentine's Day, my guy showed up carrying a dozen orange roses, and I greeted him with a card — the old-fashioned kind made from paper that you sign with a pen. Then this morning, a co-worker walked over to me with a stack of actual photos that she took on a recent night out with the two of us, and I realized they were the first physical photographs I had of us together. While we do our best not to let my techy side replace some more traditional relationship details (hence the roses and paper Valentine), sometimes the technological replacement is better — I prefer storing hundreds of digital photos on my hard drive and only printing a few choice picks, for example.

After going to salons for the last ten years, spanning two different cultures, I'm beginning to think there is an international agenda directed against people with curly hair. Today, I spent nearly $100 in a decent salon in an attempt to rewrite my own luck, and what do I get; the EXACT same haircut I got THREE times before for less than half the price.
Being a victim of the whole credit crunch/downsizing culture, this was meant to be a treat I've denied myself for well over a year. Finally affording something like this, doing all the research on all the salons in my metropolitan area, learning a bit of the lingo to convey what I want and yet AGAIN being disappointed leads me to believe that this can't possibly be me...there has GOT to be a problem with hairstylists.

I LOVE wearing and applying makeup but in a tasteful matter. One of my aspirations is to become a makeup artist when I grow up but buying the makeup is the hard part......I know that there are many girls who would love this but this is part of being able to make my dream come true and I would really appreciate it if bella sugar would help to make it come true....thank you!

12 reasons unemployment is going to (at least) 12 percent
Posted by: James Pethokoukis (Reuters)
Gluskin Sheff economist David Rosenberg, formerly of Merrill Lynch, thinks the unemployment rate is going to at least 12 percent, maybe even 13 percent. Optimists, Rosenberg explains, underestimate the incredible damage done to the labor market during this downturn. And even before this downturn, the economy was not generating jobs in huge numbers.

My apologies for having nothing originally in this post. The text was here but didn't show up.
Apparently this article is too long to be printed here, at about 11 pages. It is nevertheless worth reading, unless, as someone has already done, you have made your mind up what to believe before reading.
