Wow. Here's an angle that's out of outer space with the health care debate. The fat pride movement is pissed off at the language of the debate.

Several years ago, a friend of mine who is a writer in New York was commissioned to write a “Dummies” series book on Dressing for Success. She had compiled a whole photo shoot of clothes selected from a variety of the black, brown and navy family of colors, the more “typical” business colors favored by most women and men, or so she thought. She asked me what color suit I would wear to a business event. Black, brown or navy?

Have You Heard Ken Gladney's Story?
By Andrew Breitbart
The first round of protests against the Obama administration's chaotic and rapid-fire expansion of government came in the form of grass-roots "tea parties," which were predictably met with scorn by the Democrat-Media Complex (the natural coalition of the Democratic Party and the mainstream media.)
CNN's Anderson Cooper and MSNBC's Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow led the charge, declaring concerned Americans "tea baggers," an allusion to an absurd sexual fetish beneath describing in a family newspaper. This attack on hundreds of thousands of people practicing their constitutional right to protest speaks volumes not just about the hardened sociopolitical leanings of America's journalistic elite, but about the brazenness with which they are now wielding their unprofessionalism.

Obama faces 'Boston tea party' tax protests
Critics of President Barack Obama have held hundreds of "tea party" protests across the United States claiming grassroots opposition is growing against tax increases and government bailouts of Wall Street.

Styled on the famous 1773 Boston Tea Party revolt against British colonial taxes, the demonstrations came as Americans rushed to meet the annual deadline for filing income tax returns. Protests were due to feature dumping of tea bags, iced tea and other tea-related stunts.

Well, today was my official Sweet 16 party! We hung ribbon all over the place and set shiny tablecloths, balloons (we used our vacuum cleaner to blow them up!) and my iPod speakers among other things. The theme was Silver & Pink and the inside of the invitation was like this:
And the goodie bags and the outside of the invitation were like this:
My mum worked some of her flower arrangement prowess and produced these:
So pretty right?
