Philip Seymour Hoffman is a wonderful actor but this time it’s apparently his butt that won him an award, dubious as it might be. Paper magazine has compiled a list of the “10 Worst Nude Film Scenes” of all time and Philip Seymour Hoffman’s nude scene in “Because The Devil Knows You’re Dead” was deemed the worst of all-time. he magazine said, ” the image of “his big, bare flabby ass [is] branded on my brain.”
Paper named Patrick as the No.

Vogue’s December issue is getting bewitched– literally– by fierce style star Lady Gaga. Starring in a Hansel and Gretel-inspired spread, shot by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz, Lady Gaga channels her naughtier side to play a witch, dressed by her pal Marc Jacobs. The pop sensation tells the magazine, “I’ve always been an outspoken and extreme dresser.” And while her ruffled bloomer shorts and insanely high heels for the Vogue spread were nothing out of the ordinary for Gaga, Vogue staffers were intrigued by what the star wore to visit their office before the shoot!

I saw this film before Christmas, assuming it would be a celebrated film with award worthy performances and would gather tons of nominations this season.
Sister Aloysius Beauvier (Meryl Streep) is the head mistress at a Catholic school in 1964 Bronx, NY. She begins to suspect foul play when Father Brendan Flynn (Philip Seymour Hoffman) takes a particular interest in the first black student to be enrolled in the school, Donald Miller (Joseph Foster).

The Savages (With my love: Philip Seymour Hoffman)
Screenwriter:
Tamara Jenkins
In her consummately executed, irreverent drama The Savages, Tamara Jenkins achieves a rare storytelling feat: making us simultaneously laugh and cry. In what may evolve into a new genre, the coming-of-middle-age story, she has captured all the pain and misgivings that befall a pair of adult siblings, suddenly plucked from their very absorbed lives and forced to care for a parent who never much bothered to care for them, and transformed what could make viewers uncomfortable into a brilliantly humane examination of family dynamics.
That she has at her disposal two of the finest actors working today in Philip Seymour Hoffman and Laura Linney, an outstanding creative team behind the camera, and sage, capable producers contributes to the excellence of this production.

"I got in a fight one time with a really big guy and he said. 'I'm going to mop the floor with your face.' I said, 'You'll be sorry.'
