So, I'm in the market for a new laptop to go off to Grad School with. Right now, I have a HP Pavilion dv4000- and I'm not unhappy with much except its weight/size makes it hard to take around in a bag. Last week I had one of those freak out moments when my laptop started acting like it had been possessed, as I had zero control over it. When it booted in safe mode, I knew it was time to get some backup assistance, and let's be honest, an involuntary safe boot on a Mac is almost like the blue screen of death on a PC.
Thankfully another resident geek guru came to my rescue and we both agreed that the 100-degree weather could be impairing my MacBook.
Help! My laptop was stolen and some very "personal" stuff was on it.
My laptop was stolen, and my external hard drive (that had everything on it) was stolen with it. Luckily there were no "personal" pictures/videos of me, but there were a couple videos a friend had given me. What should I do?NOOOO :( I think I killed my laptop.
It was a bit chilly this morning, and I just couldn't get warm (probably had to do with Jason running the a/c last night since the house was so humid). I decided to make a cup of hot chocolate, and I went back to browsing on the internet. I spilled just a tiny, tiny bit on the number pad of the keyboard.
