A friend of mine needs some advice: last week, her brand-new boyfriend (we're taking days here, not even weeks) wrote an email list of gifts he wanted for Christmas, sent it to his mom, and CC'd my friend. To be fair, my friend did ask him to send her his Christmas wish list, but she never expected him to send the same list to his mother at the same time.
She's a little freaked out because she thinks this is a sign of him moving too quickly.

It has been more than a week since a 20-year-old college student called her friends at a Metallica concert to say she was outside the arena and would find her own way home. Now the famed heavy-metal rockers are participating in the search for her, adding $50,000 to the reward for information leading to her whereabouts.
While investigators attempt to discover what happened to a young woman described as open, beautiful, artistic and giving, Morgan Harrington’s parents, Dan and Gil Harrington, have been keeping a high public profile, trying to focus attention on the disappearance.

NEWARK, Del. — Finding character witnesses when you are 6 years old is not easy. But there was Zachary Christie last week at a school disciplinary committee hearing with his karate instructor and his mother’s fiancé by his side to vouch for him.

Not a mama yet, and can't really justify all that time you spend on lilsugar?
SavvyAuntie is here for you when you have little ones in your life that don't exactly belong to you, but through godparenthood or aunthood, you love them as if they were your own. But even though you love them that much, it doesn't mean you'll know exactly what to do when your beloved nephew poops his pants in your lap, or what to get a 3-year-old girl for her birthday.

Last week I was spending some time with my friend and her baby and went crazy with "capturing the moment" — it was photos and videos galore! After uploading all my cutesy wootsey images, I couldn't help but wonder what options there are for parents who want to create an online space dedicated to their bundle of joy, but yet don't want their kids faces plastered all over sites like Flickr or YouTube.
And with that I bring you TotSpot, a secure and safe user-friendly site that allows parents to create a private page about their kids.

I know I've talked about other great downloads for baby-proofing your computers, but I have to say this one definitely stands out from the rest. Baby Shield is a Mac application that protects your laptop, programs and files while it is running and while your curious and inquisitive baby decides to use your keyboard as a drum set.
And not only does Baby Shield safeguard important documents, but it displays images and music whenever the keyboard is pressed by your baby - love that!

This article is really lengthy and not well written, but the story really struck me. It's worth the read.
Thamail Morgan took the kickoff and headed up the field.

My best friend tells me that as people age they are supposted to S L O W down. Why? I have done the opposite and I believe it keeps me young....well probably younger than most people assume I am,
Recently I was asked to take on some duties at my daughter's school and my husband put his foot down and said NO. I guess I have trouble saying no to some things. I like being involved and meeting people. If I had to stay in a cubicle all day you'd have to peel me from the ceiling. I know that my husband was right. I am too involved with so many things and adding another would be crazy.
Between being a mom and wife I manage to squeeze in college, volunteering at a women's shelter, work and an internship as well as writing content for three websites and legislation for the American Legion.... I am thinking......could I possibly add a yoga class? When right?
