This keyboard kit comes with everything you'll need to put together a wooden keyboard of your own. Here's more about it from Treehugger:
"Till now, Hacoa has typically crafted each keyboard by hand, churning out the sum total of one keyboard per day. But in an effort to lighten the company’s labor load, boost production, and probably increase profits, they are going to let the purchaser do some of the cutting and assembling at home.

Last week I overheard a co-worker saying she had an incident with her cuppa Joe and keyboard. The first thing I thought was, phew - glad that hasn't happened to me! Sure enough, I was enjoying my morning tea the next day and with a quick clumsy move (blame it on the geekiness), my tea tipped over.

It's called Cyber Clean and yes it's a lot like goo. Unlike ordinary goo it's suppose to remove the dirt from your keyboard and disinfect it at the same time.
I think I would much rather just rub hand sanitizer onto my keyboard instead.

Au Revoir Simone is an electronic indie pop band from Williamsburg, Brooklyn, New York, formed in late 2003. The group is composed of Erika Forster (vocals/keyboard), Annie Hart (vocals/keyboard) and Heather D'Angelo (vocals/drum machine/keyboard). The band's name comes from a line Pee-Wee Herman says to a minor character (named Simone) in Tim Burton's Pee-Wee's Big Adventure.

Thanks to reader T S for commenting on my latest iPhone tips post. Turns out, holding your finger down on different keys on the keyboard opens up quite a few options while you're typing. She writes:
You can also type letters with accents by holding your finger on the letter, so if you put your finger on "e" and hold you'll get the option of é, è, ë, etc.

I'm starting to think Apple might be reading my mind — every time I find something I don't like about my iPhone, I realize they've already thought of a solution. Similar to learning how to quickly scroll to the top of the screen on my iPhone, I wish I would have known about this quick shortcut months ago.
If you're typing a URL into Safari on your phone, there's a convenient ".com" button on the keyboard — great when the suffix to the site you're trying to visit is .com.

You've done your homework on plane fares, but, when seeing the cost begin to climb, panic and purchase. Two hours later, the price is back down again even lower than before. I feel your pain, but don't slam your keyboard and give up.

You Are "tab"
Some people might try to say that you're always spaced out.
You do tend to be a dreamer, but you're also a great multitasker.
You work quickly and efficiently.
