This one goes out to all you PC-loving geeksugar fans who routinely scold me for being Mac-centric. Yesterday Lifehacker featured this open-source app iTunes Hotkey controls iTunes with keyboard shortcuts that will aid every PC-music fan out there.
The Amazing Ant assigns key combinations to iTunes functions.

Now, iTunes 7 offers a new way to back up your iTunes library, playlists, and iTunes Store purchases for safekeeping. The "Back Up to Disc" feature saves your media to a blank disc (CD or DVD) and once backed up, iTunes can use your backup disc(s) to automatically restore your iTunes library.
- From the "File" menu, choose "Back Up to Disc".

I know, getting constant updates in your RSS reader with the 99-cent movie of the week on iTunes is pretty sweet and such a nice surprise. But what if you could easily check out all the free video downloads from iTunes? Yes you heard correctly — free downloads on iTunes, they do exist!

I was just about to dedicate a song to a friend on Facebook and noticed, the song ain't there. After reading the tiny print I found the iLike Sidebar for iTunes.
Download it and you can add songs from you iTunes to Facebook, pretty sweet!

Have you ever gone into your iTunes Library and wondered where the heck did this music come from.. Or better yet you check your email and you see a receipt from the iTunes store thanking you for your recent purchase and you are sure someone has hacked your account?
This used to happen a bit more in my pre-baby days but I did it again this last week.

Okay, so I got this new-ish iPod Nano with a bunch of stuff on it. I never really used iTunes before even though I had it, so I'm pretty clueless about how it works. Here's my problem: I want to import everything (TV shows, podcasts, photos, and music) on the iPod into iTunes (or WinAmp) so that I can have all the good stuff that was already on it saved on the computer, reformat the iPod, and start putting hubby's music onto it.

Instead of visiting your friend's house to rip all of her CDs one by one, you can save yourself the trouble with Mojo — it's a download that gives you convenient access to your friends' iTunes libraries. Now, you can't download Mojo and just grab everyone's music willy-nilly — the friends need to be on your network at the same time, and they need to have downloaded Mojo as well.
After you've both downloaded Mojo, you get your friend's username and add each other.

Supernatural's season 3 premiere will show on television tonight, October 4th, on the CW at 9 EST, but thanks to iTunes, you can now watch it in advance if you want, totally free! Go to the TV shows tab and you will see a banner ad advertising the episode, which is titled "The Magnificent Seven." Unfortunately, it is currently only available to US residents.

My co-worker is experiencing iTunes problems with her Dell Computer (work computer). The problem happens when she uploads her purchased songs from her main (home) computer from her iPod to her work computer (both are PCs). However, when her work computer shuts down and starts up again, all those purchased songs (from her main computer) are gone.
