I love my iPod, but there is a new music player vying for my heart: the slotRadio ($79) by Sansa.
The two-inch-by-two-inch clip-on music player comes with a data card with 1,000 songs from the Billboard music charts, with prearranged playlists by music genre. I tried the additional Health and Fitness mix, which includes the mixes for warmup, cardio, roadwork (cycling), power (lifting), yoga, cooldown, and the even more mellow spa mix.

If you've been keeping up with my babysugar Diaries, you'll know that I'm having to go in for weekly non-stress tests to monitor my amniotic fluid levels. During my last exam, my nurse became concerned by the frequency and strength of the contractions I was having. For obvious reasons, I have started to prepare myself for a possible earlier due date.

We've planned the wedding registry, contemplated all the big ticket registry items and focused on the handful of gadgets you'll really need for your wedding day, so what's left? The honeymoon of course! One of my favorite honeymoon planning websites, The Knot, features a great packing list for your big trip.

As a special surprise for my birthday my parents bought me the new ipod i've wanted for forever. Now that I have my 80 gig classic I have no use for my three year old 20 gig. Thing is, I'm not sure what to do with it now.

So finally after much debate and waiting for my T-Mobile contract to expire, I was able to get the iPhone. Unfortunately the Apple store I went to did not have the white one, but my way of balance is "hey, I have a white iPod, and a black iPhone". :) It has just been a few days and so far so good.

Really Effective Eco-Resolutions for Earth DayFeatured item: APR 18, 2008
Despite the recent spate of encouraging news from the green front, many of us still occasionally fall prey to eco-anxiety when we start thinking about the current state of our environment. But by focusing on the small changes we can make in our everyday lives, we empower ourselves to make socially responsible decisions and choices that will eventually lead to big improvements for our planet.
By driving less, flying direct and canceling junk mail, we’re actually reducing carbon emissions, fighting climate change and saving trees.

If you're into geeky crafts and Do It Yourself projects you're probably already a fan of Craft Magazine, which is known for offering plans for making all kinds of geeky things like a cool chopper out of an old bicycle and a pedal powered iPod charger. The problem is, the magazine only comes quarterly, so I can get a little antsy for geeky, crafty things.
Enter Craft Blog, a constantly updated guide to the "most up to date happenings in the crafts world."

"Because you’re sexy, you’ve gotten into the habit of switching off your out of use appliances, but did you know that many appliances enter “passive standby” mode when they are turned off (so they can start up quickly when turned back on), and continue to suck energy after you’ve flipped the “off” switch? In fact, as much as 40 percent of the energy used to power appliances is consumed while they are turned off. Unplugging your appliances is a good way to reduce energy waste by as much as 1000 pounds per year, but can be inconvenient.
