I got a new 4G iPod nano last month(maybe a week after it came out), and I've been keeping it in an iPod sock since. It's been more or less a month since it came out, so I guess there are quite a number of cases for it already. I saw the reviews for the armband, and the fact that it doesn't have an opening for the hold switch is kind of strange.

A few of my favorite gadgets:
Sony Vaio PCG-TR3A. I've had this little number for 4 years! Everyone comments on how tiny it is, which is why I bought it in the first place.

Right-wing women rock
Looking at the shoes tells a lot about a female's political persuasion
By IAN ROBINSON
The recent election of Danielle Smith as leader of the Wildrose Alliance reminded me that among the many things I love about the libertarian/right wing are the women.
Could be our slogan: Come for the culture war ...

I'm all for embellishments, but check out this decked-out iPod case. The Showstopper iPhone Case ($20) is covered in gold, brown, silver, and gold beads and is the latest in blinged-out accessories.
Are you in love, or is it a little too bedazzled?

Using a cell phone while walking is so distracting that people are likely to miss a clown riding a unicycle.
And yes, this is the result of real research, which involved mostly college-age students walking across a main campus square while a real clown performed. The research also found cell-phone users walk slower and weave about more than others.

September 5, 2009 7:00 AMThe Omnipresent LeaderThey want us to “pledge to be a servant to our president”?By Mark Steyn
On Friday, I had the rare honor of appearing in the pages of the New York Times, apropos President Obama’s plans to beam himself into every schoolhouse in the land in the peculiar belief that Generation iPod will find this an enthralling technical novelty. As Times reporters James C. McKinley Jr. and Sam Dillon wrote: “Mark Steyn, a Canadian author and political commentator, speaking on the Rush Limbaugh show on Wednesday, accused Mr. Obama of trying to create a cult of personality, comparing him to Saddam Hussein and Kim Jong Il, the North Korean leader.” Oh, dear!

I love my ipod headphones and so does my cat..unfortunately she chews them as soon as I leave them unattended to. Last night she even stuck her paw into the back of my laptop bag and pulled it out..leaving me a nice surprise in the morning. I bought two more sets today along with a tin of altoids and I plan on temporarily leaving my headphones in this as a protective measure.

DENIED: Bigotry of the Obamatrons by Charles Winecoff
Recently, at the office (a place I sometimes affectionately refer to as Obama Central), I made the mistake of printing out a Washington Post editorial that questioned the foreign policy expertise of our new Commander-in-Chief. By the time I got to the printer to pick it up, someone else had already seen it - and stamped “DENIED” across the top of the page in red ink. Next to that was scrawled, “RIGHT WINGER GO HOME.”
The first thing that went through my mind was: cross burnings.
