If you plan on visiting a new city in the near future, but don't feel like expensing out on another travel guide (and you just so happen to have an iPhone or iPod Touch), check out Schmap — a handy interactive site that provides maps and full-color guides for over 200 destinations throughout the United States, Europe, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Just visit Schmap on your iPhone or iPod Touch for virtual tours, and guides on everything from hotels to activities and dining.
What's neat about Schmap's iPhone functionality is its rotate 'n' map feature that enables you to turn your iPhone sideways to see places on a map and scroll a list as the map dynamically updates.

As much as I love my iPhone, I'm actually shocked to say that I haven't "pimped it to its potential!" While I'm usually concerned with my desktop's wallpaper, my iPhone wallpaper gets neglected with boring photos. Never again!

Nowdays, more and more people use camcorder to record something happy, such as birthday party, wedding, graduation etc. While, maybe lots of you aren’t familiar with these tools, feeling frustrated about how to convert and import properly those .MOD video files. Now here, I give some little tips and hope it useful to all of you.First, what’s Mod?.Mod files are actually MPEG-2 files with AC3 audio, similar to a VOB file on a DVD or the M2T files used on Sony hard drive camcorders, this video file format is used on many digital camcorders, such as the JVC Everio, the Canon FS100 and the Panasonic D-Snap SD-card camcorders.Second, why and how we convert them to what we wanted video formats?Because .Mod file is not supported by iPod Touch, iPod Nano, iPod Classic, iPhone, Apple TV, PSP, Zune, Creative Zen etc, so if you want to import MOD files from your camcorders to play on iPod, even burn to DVD to keep them, you have to convert them.

My friend made this app called Slide-A-Ma-Jig, that keeps them occupied with something that's fun and silly. Its a kind of sliding mix and match activity with all these funny characters and their body parts can be switched out, plus they have different things on their heads like hats or fish or upside down cereal bowls and a bunch of different backgrounds...you just actually have to see it to totally get it. The illustrations are super goofy and also really pretty at the same time. Its supposed to be for kids but my hubby and I love it too. here's a link: bit.ly/5YJ9r

Azazel Walking
When Castiel and I got back to the institute we walked in straight through the front door. "Why were allowed to leave?" I said asking him, whispering.

Azazel Walking
I stared out the window watching trees and road pass by while listening to the music blaring out of my ipod speakers. I didnt even notice the car stopped until my mother called “We’re here Azazel! Get the he.ll out!” I grabbed my stuff and slammed the car door shut.

The real question about how Barack and Michelle Obama are being received on their Rolling-G-20-Summit/Euro-Tour '09 has nothing to do with how the Europeans treat them, but all about the American mainstream media itself: What infinitesimal nit will they find to pick about the new president's conduct abroad that can be blown up into a two- to three-day pseudo-international incident?
You know the sort of story I mean. We're not talking about serious systemic issues, such as the different perspective a country like Germany (with universal health care, generous unemployment benefits, and a highly unionized work force) might have on the need for a global stimulus when compared to the U.S., where the party Obama just turned out of office has proposed effectively privatizing Medicare.

Cesar Rodriguez knew he was addicted to electronic devices. But the Los Angeles 10th-grader had no idea just how sick he was.
"I can't stand it," he wrote in his journal on the second day of a one-week attempt to survive without television, iPods, cellphones, BlackBerrys and computers.
