All things old are new again as vintage gadgets and tech come back with a bang. Since you can already turn your iPhone photos into cool vintage-looking pics in more than a few ways, it's only natural that there would eventually be an iPhone 3GS app that turns your on-the-go videos into retro styled mini movies.
Called the Vintage Video Maker, this $3 app is worth its weight in fun — just capture your video within the app, or load one up that you've already shot, and choose between three old-timey styles: 20's movie, black and white, and 60's home video.

If you plan on visiting a new city in the near future, but don't feel like expensing out on another travel guide (and you just so happen to have an iPhone or iPod Touch), check out Schmap — a handy interactive site that provides maps and full-color guides for over 200 destinations throughout the United States, Europe, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Just visit Schmap on your iPhone or iPod Touch for virtual tours, and guides on everything from hotels to activities and dining.
What's neat about Schmap's iPhone functionality is its rotate 'n' map feature that enables you to turn your iPhone sideways to see places on a map and scroll a list as the map dynamically updates.

One of my favorite iPhone features is its camera. It's of impressive quality for a cell phone camera, and has gotten successively better with each generation of iPhone released. Add the plethora of accessories meant to enhance the iPhone's camera and applications to enhance your photos, and my iPhone can produce better photos than my camera.

I love learning simple tips and tricks for my iPhone — even if they're things I feel I should have known! File this tip under "Things I wish I knew months ago."
Whether you're reading a ton of emails, in the middle of a very long text conversation or just deeply involved browsing apps, sometimes you find yourself at the bottom of a page having to scroll up, up, up to the top.
