Warning: I am an idiot when it comes to computers :)
So a few weeks ago I finally took my laptop into the Geeksquad to have them fix a few things and while I was there I mentioned it had been running really slowly for awhile. Come to find out I had less than a gig of memory left on my hard drive (I guess I just figured if my ipod held all my music my computer would too.) The guy told me to get an external hard drive and put all of my stuff on that. So I bought one that was on sale and went home.

Today I realized that I only have 150mb left on my iMac. I would like to get an external hard drive (a big one, preferably 1TB), but am not sure what to look for in the specifications. Any suggestions?

So I've read all the info that everyone has written about external hard drives. My choices are between the time capsule and whatever else. I'm just not sure what size I should really consider investing in.

An Interview with Christine B. Whelan, author of 'Why Smart Men Marry Smart Women'

I think I've now seen four of five posts where people have run out of space on their Macs. Not only is this frustrating but it can cause damage to the stability of your Operating System or prevent you from being able to boot your computer. I'm hoping with a little bit of preventative maintenance you can all avoid this problem.

We have all heard of book phenomenon 'The Rules' where we are told that women should never return a mans calls, never look a man straight in the eye on first meeting and never, ever to accept a date from a man for a Saturday if he asks later than a Wednesday.
But does the game of love really work? Are the rules fact or do they actually drive men away?

The pressure from the ‘Twi-hards’ must be much less now, because they clearly all love you?
Robert Pattinson: “There’s never been any pressure from anywhere I don’t think. Other than right from the very beginning, before the first film came out.

Nowdays, more and more people use camcorder to record something happy, such as birthday party, wedding, graduation etc. While, maybe lots of you aren’t familiar with these tools, feeling frustrated about how to convert and import properly those .MOD video files. Now here, I give some little tips and hope it useful to all of you.First, what’s Mod?.Mod files are actually MPEG-2 files with AC3 audio, similar to a VOB file on a DVD or the M2T files used on Sony hard drive camcorders, this video file format is used on many digital camcorders, such as the JVC Everio, the Canon FS100 and the Panasonic D-Snap SD-card camcorders.Second, why and how we convert them to what we wanted video formats?Because .Mod file is not supported by iPod Touch, iPod Nano, iPod Classic, iPhone, Apple TV, PSP, Zune, Creative Zen etc, so if you want to import MOD files from your camcorders to play on iPod, even burn to DVD to keep them, you have to convert them.
