One of my college roommates spent many an hour playing Nintendo Duck Hunt and avoiding her school work (I was worried at first but she had this unnatural ability to ace classes despite her addiction and ended up becoming a brilliant Archaeologist). Needless to say, I was taken on a nostalgic trip down memory lane when I learned Craftster member Quacker Jacks has created a lovely and amazing piece of geek art inspired by the game. Apparently, Quacker Jacks decided to combine her childhood obsession with Duck Hunt with her new obsession of knitting and after about a month of on and off knitting, this gem was born.

Even if you're not crafty enough to design and print your own fabric, I bet you can appreciate the fact that others can — especially if you chill on geeksugar because I love crafty geek stuff!
CraftStylish is a new site where not only can you check out the creative handmade goods from other crafters, but you are also encouraged to share yours.
It's a fun, low-pressure place to say "look what I did!"

Ursula5977 recently shared some fabulous photos of my new favorite geeky crafts project: Her decorated Macbook. She says:
Out of boredom and lack of a hobby, I took the liberty of rhinestoning my beloved MacBook! It's almost to the point of tacky, but I absolutely love it.

If you're into geeky crafts and Do It Yourself projects you're probably already a fan of Craft Magazine, which is known for offering plans for making all kinds of geeky things like a cool chopper out of an old bicycle and a pedal powered iPod charger. The problem is, the magazine only comes quarterly, so I can get a little antsy for geeky, crafty things.
Enter Craft Blog, a constantly updated guide to the "most up to date happenings in the crafts world."

A couple of you got really excited by my How to Make A Cell Phone Stand from a Business Card post yesterday and I realized it was high time I formally introduced you all to Instructables. It's a fantastic site that offers user submitted instructions for Do It Yourself projects, crafts and handy tips.
For example, have you ever seen Hummingbirds buzzing outside your window and wished you had a way of capturing them?
