I was really nervous about re painting this antique clock but there was so much varnish/paint on it that it would have been too difficult to sand out so I took a risk with some spray paint (3 cans) of "heirloom white" and I think it turned out nice!

Yesterday, Saynogirl was talking about getting new furniture, and the excitement it created for her and her family. It brought to mind some of the excitement we felt when we renovated the living room in our previous home and when I came upon a coffee table that suited my beachhouse theme. It holds some Bahamian sand and sea shells from our boat trip in the Bahama's and is a wonderful reminder of that trip.
