I can't say enough good things about Firefox 3 — it's extremely fast, has an intuitive interface and uses much less memory than Firefox 2 (hence, fewer Firefox crashes). But, you knew it was coming, I cannot adjust to the "Smart Location Bar," or as others have been calling it, the "Awesome Bar." I don't want my location bar to suggest 12 bookmarks and URLs that resemble what I've previously visited when I type in a search — auto search is definitely not for me.

Being the nut job that I am, I can't seem to cut back on the amount of tabs I keep open in Firefox — which usually total anywhere from 50 - 100. I know, I'm killing my RAM in the process and my MacBook is secretly threatening to crash on me once and for all. I used to be a big fan of CopyAllURLs, a handy Firefox add-on that would copy all of my open tabs and I could paste them in a text file.

Although you might lose some of your Firefox extensions when you cross over to Firefox 3 – and trust me, you're gonna want the newest version since it's faster and more secure – you can still download the same sweet extensions that Firefox is known for.
I happen to have a few eBay bids out on some precious Polaroid film, and am watching others before I jump in. With the Firefox eBay companion, I can see the stats on my bids right on my browser — without having to stop what I'm doing to log in.

Firefox is trying to set a Guiness World Record for most downloads in 24 hours. Users must go to the website and pledge to download Version 3 on the first day that it becomes available.
Here's the link: http://www.spreadfirefox.com/en-US/worldrecord

Browsing through photos and videos online just got a heck of a lot prettier with Piclens! This sweet download — that's been brought to us by another fave download of mine, Cooliris — allows you to gloss over thousands of photos from sites like Flickr, Photobucket, and Google Images, in a classy and sleek 3D slideshow. And what's better, the load times are nearly diminished since your slideshow is a virtual wall of thumbnails .

I am so happy to see that Opera has joined the likes of Safari (webkit) to have passed the new Acid3 test! Aside from my Opera fandom, it's just nice in general to see browsers caring about web standards. Unfortunately, I'm not sure FireFox 3 will ever get there.

I've been having trouble uploading images for the past few days. Before it was off and on but I've been trying all morning to upload an image and I can't.
Is anyone else having this problem?

The good stuff aside, I had a number of problems with this release. Fiesty Fawn was supposed to make multimedia easier. Strangely enough I ran into some difficulties with multimedia, as well as with some of the other new features.

It's a tough thing when you're doing a review of a distribution that you want to like but end up having to pan it. The latest version of Ubuntu Linux is called Feisty Fawn, and about all I can see it being good for is venison. We found it to be a real stinker in some ways, despite past versions of Ubuntu having been fairly good.
