Tom Brokaw.
With the passing of Walter Cronkite, Mr. Brokaw is considered perhaps the new "dean" of journalism. As such the former NBC News anchor is periodically summoned forth to assess the current world, an occasion that presented itself recently on the venerable NBC Sunday newser Meet the Press.

Okay so Tuesday I met with the neurosurgeon and the clinical psychologist to receive final clearance to be one of the 150 people in the final clinical trial for the Occipital Nerve Stimulator (ONS) which is for people with chronic (intractable) migraine. If the results of the study are consistent with the previous trials then this device could receive FDA approve within two years and available to other chronic migraine sufferers. The ONS device is not a cure but a preventative measure to stop migraines in their tracks.

When I was a kid we moved every year because of my Dad's job. Mom was always finding new uses for all sorts of things. I have seen her do some very cool things with some really unusual things.

Project codename wackdoodle - I think I'm the newest and squishiest Transformer.
However, I maybe the smartest Transformer cause I successfully got out of my expensive gym membership without paying any penalties. Go wack, it's your birthday (thank goodness it isn't - don't need to be 37 yet)!

Gabrielle Carteris, 46, played the older-looking out-of-place Andrea Zuckerman on the early years of 90s teen soap drama “90210.” She served as a kind of overachieving mother-type to the other characters, who were always hooking up and getting into trouble. Andrea eventually got pregnant and married and didn’t appear much in the later years of “90210,” which was on for an inexplicable 10 freaking years on Fox, from 1990-2000.
Carteris has been married to a stock broker since 2002, and has two daughters.

by Jennifer Boulden and Heather Stephenson
Anyone who’s ever moved from a larger place into a smaller one knows how difficult it can be to jettison unwanted stuff in an environmentally friendly way—especially when it’s bulky, of unknown origin, or the type of thing that requires wearing a Hazmat suit to recycle. Seeking answers, ReadyMade enlisted the help of Ideal Bite, a daily email newsletter devoted to “light-green living,” to create a crib sheet for those with the urge to purge. Downsizers, don’t leave home without it.
