From Denofgeek.comAs Twilight New Moon soaks up money across the planet, Robert Pattinson has been talking about what we can expect from next summer’s Twilight Eclipse…Even thought Twilight: New Moon has only just arrived in cinemas around the world, the third film in the cinematic saga, Eclipse, has already finished its shoot. Under the stewardship of 30 Days Of Night director David Slade, cameras were packed up a few weeks ago, and the film is already in post-production.And, if you believe the bits and pieces coming out about the film, it's set to be just a little bit different from New Moon. After all, star Robert Pattinson has been reportedly suggesting that the film might actually push towards an R rating, as opposed to the PG-13 of New Moon.We don't actually believe that's going to be the case, though, as Summit Entertainment will have a firm eye on the potential box office returns for the film, and if it puts a PG-13-rated cut of the film out in cinemas, then that's simply going to make more money.

A year after an unruly crowd trampled a worker to death at a Wal-Mart store, the nation’s retailers are preparing for another Black Friday, the blockbuster shopping day after Thanksgiving. Along with offering $300 laptops and $99 navigation devices, stores are planning new safety measures to make sure the festive day does not take another deadly turn.
Last year, frenzied shoppers at a Wal-Mart in Valley Stream, N.Y., trampled Jdimytai Damour, a temporary store worker who died soon afterward.

CHIPLEY, Fla. – Sheriff Bobby Haddock knew time was running out for a 7-month-old girl missing in the Florida Panhandle.
For five days, searchers had scoured the dense vines and marshes around the baby's rural home, knowing that every hour a child is missing, the chances of finding them alive decreases.

Fort Hood Massacre: A Day of Courage and Cowardice
A self-described "devout Muslim" who praised suicide bombers opens fire on brave American soldiers — and most people in the mainstream media insist there is no sign of terror.
November 6, 2009 - by Bruce Bawer
The brave soldiers who were massacred at Fort Hood had trained to fight the jihadist enemy abroad. But they seem to have ended up being murdered by the same enemy on American soil, in a place where they thought they were safe — murdered, apparently, because a series of military and medical officials recognized what was going on with this major and chose to do nothing about it.

So last year we went to Hawaii and once we got there we realized we really wanted to take some underwater photos when we went scuba diving. I immediately hopped on line (with my Verizon Broadband card ;-) ) and searched for a waterproof case for my Canon SD400. No dice getting one local.

Police Accuse Parents Of "Balloon Boy" Of Perpetrating Hoax
By DAN ELLIOTT
DENVER – The mother of the 6-year-old boy once feared missing inside a runaway helium balloon admitted the whole saga was a hoax, according to court documents released Friday.
Mayumi Heene told sheriff's deputies that she and her husband Richard "knew all along that Falcon was hiding in the residence" in Fort Collins, according to an affidavit used to get a search warrant for the home.

The Media’s Complicity: Analysis of ACORN Coverage
by Billy Hallowell
The mainstream media were complicit in their coverage of the ACORN scandal. Their behavior was and continues to be an insult to democracy and journalistic responsibility as the Fourth Estate has ignored facts, engaged in one-sided sourcing, and avoided basic and inherently important journalistic questioning.
