I was born to a non practicing Methodist Father and a practicing Catholic Mother and raised around my mothers Catholic Latin family. When I became a teen my mother told me that if I went to church from now on it would be my choice. That was the day I stopped going to church with my mother.

So I am fairly new at the 'dating game' as I just got out of a long 4yr relationship. I met this guy who is a bit older than me one night outside of a party. He asked me to go to his friend's party that night and I agreed.

I am looking for some advice. I have been in a relationship for 3 1/2 years now. I was 17 when this started, and my boyfriend is 4 years older than me.

Michael Phelps’ day grew lousier by the hour on Thursday.
First he lost a major sponsor, then he got suspended.
The Olympic great was suspended from competition for three months by USA Swimming, the latest fallout from a photo that showed him inhaling from a marijuana pipe.

I had been hooking up with this guy for about two months. We had been in a committed relationship about a year ago, but this time around our "relationship" was pretty casual. We didn't ever talk about our feelings, and he didn't consider me his "girlfriend".

I met this great guy on a dateing site and we decided to meet for dinner after talking for a week or so. Dinner went really well and we spent the next few days together until he drove back home (an hour away). We had plans for the following weekend and we were both so blown away by the fact that neither of us expected anything out of the date, much less to like each other!

Love that the article opens up referring to the "legions of teenagers who have read the novel"... um, I'm a bit past that age group ;)

Love and Pain and the Teenage Vampire Thing
By TERRENCE RAFFERTY
AS the legions of teenagers who have read the novel on which the forthcoming film “Twilight” is based know, the awkward passage from youth to maturity isn’t the very worst problem an adolescent can have. You could fall helplessly in love with a vampire, which is what happens to the virginal 17-year-old heroine and narrator of Stephenie Meyer’s book.

As exciting as the beginning of a relationship is, it’s also fraught with insecurity, which leads to all manner of perverse behavior: jealous tirades, game playing, over-clinging. All because you don’t know exactly what the other party is thinking or feeling—and no one wants to sound desperate by coming out and demanding: “Exactly what are you thinking or feeling?”
That’s where snooping comes in.
The lure of looking
I admit it: I’ve stooped to snooping on boyfriends on many an occasion.
