Oh, I know there's an unholy amount of music websites and services online (I think I've written about a few . . .), so I'm a little bit more conservative now about both highlighting and getting sucked into a new service.

What makes Justin Timberlake tick? Whether it’s the first keyboards in his musical memories, the joys of the Rhodes, or mixing his mind-blowing arena show in surround, it’s all about the sonic details.
Let’s face it: Justin Timberlake can do anything he wants, and that thing will seem cooler for it.

Kellie Pickler didn't win the title of American Idol this year, but the pride of Albemarle, N.C., is still getting a shot at country stardom. She's on the charts with "Red High Heels," and just a few aisles over from the shoe department is her debut album, Small Town Girl. I'm a new user here and just came across this Website of the Day thing. I'd like to recommend bandsintown.com for the Website of the Day. It's really a great show recommendation service that I hardly ever see get credit.

Johansson won’t be touring to support her new album Anywhere I Lay My Head, a collection of Tom Waits covers. According to reps, it’s because of her recent engagement and film commitments.
The Matchpoint star released her debut album last week, a collection of Tom Waits covers, but has no plans to follow up the LP with any live dates.

Do you want a place where you can share your favorite music and music videos (like a musically inclined YouTube), but can also show off your fave photos you took from that Ghostland Observatory show you went to last week? Me too, which is why I love imeem. I can make my own music and video playlists, photo galleries, and now I can even chop up and edit my photos directly on imeem — which means less time editing in Photoshop or iPhoto, and more time browsing for new artists to fall in love with.
