Here are a few strange and unique fetishes. The reason why I am using the term "abnormal" is because anything that fits in the category of abnormal pyschology is something that is outside the general norm of a society. Please keep in mind that in some African tribes it is NOT abnormal for women to wear multiple rings around their neck in order to extend the neck as long as possible, but in the United States, that kind of behavior is abnormal.

Scientific Pretense vs. Democracy
By Angelo M. Codevilla
“We will restore science to its rightful place…”
—Barack Obama
Unpacked, this sentence means: “Under my administration, Americans will have fewer choices about how they live, and fewer choices as voters because, rightfully, those choices should be made by officials who rule by the authority of science.”
Thus our new president intends to accelerate a trend a half-century old in America but older and further advanced in the rest of the world.

Types of Perfumes and Fragrance Categories
Perfume has always been a vital part of human culture: people
have perfumed their hair and bodies with oils, resins, flower
and herb extracts and animal scents since earliest history.
Wearing scent is pleasurable; it is an expression of
individuality; it attracts mates and makes us nice to be
close to. Perfumes are more for the wearer: they make us feel
wonderful.

What do Obama and Susan Rice propose to do about this?
Truly, I had plans to write this week about something other than the United Nations. But over at Turtle Bay, here they go again.

Was I secretly hoping that Steve would pop out on the stage this morning? Yes. I guess in Phil's defense, those are some pretty big New Balance tennis shoes to fill.
