Well it's that time of year again. I would have probably posted this sooner but frankly I am still a bit tore up over the announcement that this is Apple's last MacWorld and Steve won't be giving the keynote. Seriously, the day of the sad news I went into a funk and really felt like someone had died.

On my way to the Macworld Convention for more geeking out, smoozing and fun times. My jacket is from Gap, pants from H and M.

Know what hip-hop mogul Jay-Z and tech industry extraordinaire Steve Jobs have in common? Apparently a record company.
So some in the blogosphere are predicting will be the news later this month, anyway.

Was I secretly hoping that Steve would pop out on the stage this morning? Yes. I guess in Phil's defense, those are some pretty big New Balance tennis shoes to fill.

I took this picture this morning before heading to the SF Moscone Center for Macworld. I'm a little more chic right now because I thought I'd dress up for the geeks, but this morning I was feeling comfy in one of my favorite Lucky sweatshirt.
Go geeks!

MacHeist is a bundle of 14 great apps for only $49! You only have 2 days left to take advantage of this!
I bought my copy the other day and now there are 2 more apps available (which i am able to download and use, still), but if 30,000 more people sign up everyone has access to another app as well.

Since Mac have been traditionally been used by the more creative out there I stumbled across a great article on how to get more fonts. From free to quality fonts you pay for. Even briefly covers some font management applications and utilities :-)

This link is crazy. Some sex store is totally exploiting the Ipod product and ads to promote a handheld device that's definitely not an MP3 player. Here's the story:

What do you guys think?

With all the Macworld talk this week, the Windows/Linux crowd may have felt like they were left out in the dust - that is, unless they were in the gadget heaven that is CES. If you're hankering for a download and your a non-macer, check out WorkRave, a program that assists in the recovery and prevention of Repetitive Strain Injury.
Workrave reminds you to take micro-pauses, rest breaks and restricts you to your daily limit.
